Sempione Hotel Ristorante

Wonderful rooms, kind staff and excellent ristorante and breakfast buffet. The airport shuttle was smooth and convenient. Would for sure stay again in the future!

One of the few hotels offering free and efficient shuttle bus service to/from airport. Basic but clean & neat.
Plane noise barely audible on first floor room (Jan 2025 stay).
Mind the 5-bed penthouse rooms under the roof (Jan 2019 stay), as you DO hear planes up there!

Awesome staff and great care, nice and cozy room, clean bathroom, peaceful hotel, good breakfast and delicious croissants, and great airport shuttle management.

100% recommend if you're looking for a place near the airport. The room was clean and tidy and the restaurant was excellent. Very good free shuttle to and from Malpensa.

Excellent experience! They picked me at MXP as soon as I called, and dropped me back the next morning exactly as planned. My room was clean and comfortable.

Reliable, free and fast shuttle service to the airport (just call and they arrive in 10-15 min) with friendly driver, very helpful and friendly staff, very convenient location to MPX. Spotless rooms, modern look, excellent free breakfast with freshly baked croissants, very good restaurant with wood oven for pizza. TV in the room. Very quiet room. You can open the window of your room to get fresh air if you want (a plus). This is my second stay and I will come back again for sure. The only consideration is that there is no elevator, so you need to be able to go up the stairs to the room.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The room was very clean and quite. The restaurant was excellent and hotel/restaurant staff were very friendly. For negative feedback, the air conditioner in the room did not seem to work, so it was hot. The smoke detector was on the ceiling right above the head of the bed. It has a bright blinking light, which was unpleasant when trying to sleep. We would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

I was surprised, reading all the rave reviews of this hotel, to find it a pretty average small hotel. Positives: very clean, convenient location for early flights out of mxp, a nice reliable shuttle service to the airport with a friendly driver, and a good on site restaurant with pleasant staff. Negatives: the hotel is right on the very busy main road and the traffic noise is terrible, at least if you’re in rooms 201-205. Room was stuffy so I opened the window to get some air. Traffic noise was so bad I went down to the front desk to ask if we could switch to an interior room. The young lady who checked us in maybe was having a bad day but was unfriendly and seemed to pretend to look at the bookings, shuffled some pages and said it was impossible, they were quite busy. Maybe they were, but it seemed she really just didn’t want to be bothered.
Hotel staff was the least friendly of the 4 hotels we stayed at on this trip.
The room was very small and quite basic with 2 very small single beds, but clean and adequate.
The town has a surprisingly impressive little church up the hill.
I recommend this little town for early departures from mxp, but next time I will try another of the town’s hotels.

The room and bathroom are in good size, the breakfast is good, the stuffs are friendly and helpful, and the shuttle service is good and flexible.

I give this place 5 stars because they made check-in and check-out so easy! Which is so important for me when I'm travelling long hours. The gentleman who picked us up from the airport (from the hotel's shuttle service) and dropped us back off, was so kind and helpful. He was waiting for us the next morning when it was time to leave and made sure we got to the airport on time. The breakfast is very simple, and just enough for you to start your day. The hotel rooms are ok, they are small, but just perfect enough for us to spend a night and get some rest. The beds were comfortable and provided us a good night's rest. If you are looking for a place close to the airport for a good night's rest, I would recommend this place!

Check-in and check-out was so easy, which was great after a long journey. The airport shuttle service was perfect. The guy came and picked us up right after we called the hotel, he helped us with our stuff and he was so nice. He was again waiting for us the next morning to take us back to the airport at the exact right time. Breakfast was very simple, filling enough to get you on with your day. I had an excellent night's sleep, the beds were very comfortable. They gave us a bunk bed for our 2 kids which was perfect. Overall, this was a great place to stay for a night close to the hotel!

The hotel communicated with us very well and let us know how to find the door and our key and room after hours since our flight got in late.

The room was fine - very simple but clean.

Just know that because our flight was late, there was no Airport Shuttle (we did know this ahead of time) but what we didn't know was that the taxi from the airport would cost us 50 euros! So just know that this is the case.

The breakfast was nice and the hotel was very close to the train station so we could get into Milan the next day.

Great food at restaurant too!! Great stay! Not too far walk from train station, but seemed far walking in the rain 😜😂

Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. When I needed to leave for the airport earlier than breakfast time, they arranged a breakfast box for me that was ready in time for my shuttle

Even though it's on a busy road it is very good value wise. Everyone was friendly & helpful. It was clean & safe. Nice breakfast.

They had a free airport shuttle and wonderful breakfast. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful . The room was small and we could not have windows open as planes flew directly over hotel even though it’s 15 minutes from airport, but we were only there one night so not a big issue for us
