Hotel Haydn

Non è un tipico hotel, e per noi era un po strano. Ma alla fine è andato tutto bene.

La struttura è datata e servirebbe una risistemazione negli arredi e nei bagni.

When we arrived, we were charged an additional fee as a tax, although we understood that our Booking.com reservation stated that there would be no additional charges. We did not want to insist on the matter. The breakfast was a little lacking in terms of sweet options, and there was no possibility of toasting bread. As the room was in the attic, it was quite hot, which meant that we had to keep the air conditioning on all the time. The only window that could be opened was very small, making it difficult to air the room. The main entrance door to the building, providing access to the lifts, was always unlocked.

Room very hot and superficially cleaned, whole building quite dirty, would not bring friends and family here. Reception staff seemed overwhelmed. On the first morning, before 10 am and while I was in the bathroom, cleaning personnel (I assume) knocked and attempted to unlock my room. Good thing I left the key in the door. Felt my privacy was violated while I was in the bathroom

Der allgemeine Lärmpegel rund ums Gebäude- da gerade rundherum viel gebaut wird. Am Morgen der Lärm im Stiegenhaus - da wir ein Zimmer etwas abseits hatten und auch andere Leute im Gebäude wohnen sowie andere Praxen vor Ort sind.

The place is only 1 floor for reception and another for rooms, so hard to call it a hotel.
Elevators could only fit 3 people (or 2 with suitcases).
Very difficult to reach by car, parking located outside (which I knew about), but had to ask additional for somebody to walk and open it for me.

Room could’ve used a kettle (fridge was provided though). There was dust collecting in the corners of furniture when we arrived.

Our room came with a window in the ceiling, no windows at eye level except one in the bathroom, which may be a downside for some.

Der Frühstücksraum ist nicht gerade groß zu sechst konnten wir nicht an einen Tisch sitzen. Der Platz vor dem Buffet war begrenzt und man musste sich an den anderen Personen vorbei schieben.

AC has no remotes, The Building has some renovation happening but I think they are almost completed. The coorridors need to have better lighting and some water needs to be placed in room or in the reseption. It not good to drink water from Bathroom tap (even if its clean).
