We chose the hotel because of its wonderful location. It turned out even better than expected. The stuff was helpful. The view from the room was nice (make sure you book the right category if that matters to you).
The room was pretty small, would gave been ok if we had travelled with backpacks, but was a bit cramped once we had to unpack our suitcases. Also there was some weird smell in the bathroom. Probably the pipes.

Staff was nice and the free coffee location was good lots of food around and coffee/weed shops near by,not to long of a walk to the red light district.
It’s a fairly long walk with your bags to the hotel from the train station. Trying to shower here was terrible the water pressure was a dribble at best and the shower head kept falling down.

Good area for property, lots of tram stops around making it very easy to get into the centre of Amsterdam. Good view of canal (canal view room). Staff were friendly and helpful. Could drop in bags before check in and leave after check out.
The bedroom provided all the essential amenities and was generally well presented. However, the bed was made up of two single mattresses pushed together with a double topper placed over them. Although initially comfortable, this setup proved to be quite disruptive during the night. The mattresses repeatedly shifted apart, creating a pronounced gap in the centre of the bed. As a result, we frequently found ourselves rolling into the divide, which made it difficult to remain settled. The gap became increasingly noticeable as the night went on, and the lack of proper support in the middle significantly affected our quality of sleep. The topper was the only thing partially masking the separation, but it was not sufficient to prevent the discomfort caused by the mattresses moving apart.
Additionally, prior to our stay, we had read reviews mentioning loud bass noise from a nearby club, particularly impacting rooms at the rear of the property. For this reason, we deliberately chose a canal-view room at the front of the building. While this did appear to reduce the disturbance overall, low-frequency bass could still be heard at times during the night, most noticeably when awake and using the bathroom.
