Ottima location
Pros:

Villa padronale immersa nel verde a cascina pochi minuti sa pontedera pisa , un oretta da Firenze. . Giardino curato molto profumato per via dei tanti fiori che danno una sensazione di relax. Bella la piscina e ottima il ristorante con una cucina molto ricercata. Colazione di qualità con molti prodotti biologici tipo miele direttamente dalle arnie. Ottimo punto di partenza per girare la toscana in auto.

Die Unterkunft hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen - super freundliche Reception und besondere Küche mit professionellem Service sind sehr empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Leider war das Lavabo im Badzimmer nicht voll funktionsfähig - womöglich Ablauf verstopft. Obwohl beanstandet, erfolgt keine wirksame Reparatur.

Pros:

Lugar muy tranquilo,personal muy amable y el desayuno increíble.

Cons:

La habitación era un poco pequeña y las escaleras para subir a la habitación algo empinadas.El aire acondicionado no funcionaba pero con la ventana abierta dormimos sin problema.Lo único que había cerca una iglesia y las campanas sonaban cada hora a partir de las 6 am.

Top Lage, ruhig und sauber
Pros:

Die ruhige Lage außerhalb und das reichhaltige Frühstück.

Cons:

Leider war während unseres Aufenthaltes das Restaurant geschlossen ( Infomail 3 Tage vorher). Da wir Sonntags angereist sind, waren die meisten Restaurant im Umkreis abends geschlossen. Dann hätten wir Ende Mai über 30 Grad und das Zimmer hatte leider keine Klimaanlage zum kühlen. Heizung gab es aber 😁. Der Steinboden ist wohl ," Vintage" mir gefällt es nicht. Das Bad könnte auch etwas verbessert werden. Genauso wie die Matratzen.

Sehr schön mit vie Potential im Service
Pros:

Sehr schöne Anlage mit viel Charme.

Cons:

Wir hatten das Hotel ausgesucht, da es mit einem Restaurant und Frühstück ausgezeichnet war. Das Restaurant wurde dann aber einen Tag vor Ankunft geschlossen und das Frühstück gibt es erst ab 8:00, zu spät für Fähren-Nutzer. Das Personal bietet keine alternative Lösung an.

Style over substance.
Pros:

We chose Villa Maya as we wanted to stay in a more traditional hotel and it was close to Pisa airport. Our stay was unremarkable.

Cons:

Although the building is lovely with authentic furnishings inside, its large garden surroundings are poorly maintained. Outside seating needed a good dust down before we could sit and there was a shabby feel generally. The receptionist was not at all welcoming, our room was clean and comfortable, although dark and small. We had to open the shutters in order to get some natural light to illuminate the room which meant it was quite noisy as opened straight on to the arrival area. The restaurant was the biggest disappointment - definitely style over substance. The claim that dishes weren't available due to having hosted a wedding sampling event was unacceptable - dishes should have been taken off the menu. Breakfast was not available early in the morning, so we had to miss it due to leaving for the airport. Will not return!
