A great location with free parking and a beautiful hotel for short stays.
Pros:

It’s a wonderful hotel in a stunning building.

Cons:

The bathrooms are overdue a refurbishment and renovation. Also it’s really a very good B&B there isn’t much more than very limited snacks at the top floor roof terrace the ground floor restaurant only being open for breakfast (which is excellent).

A great place to stay in Heraklion
Pros:

Very smart and stylish hotel. Great rooms. Excellent breakfast. Car park outside the door. Well placed for visiting the town - walkable to museums, shops, restaurants and the Fort. Lovely staff who were kind and helpful when my husband was unwell.

Cons:

Everything was great.

The bathroom was a little outdated. The bath/shower combo was a little difficult to get out of. The beds and pillows were a little too firm.

Comfortable & Convienient Stay
Pros:

Excellent stay at GDM Megaron. Friendly and accommodating staff, a lovely surprise upgrade to a Junior Suite, and great service helping us book dinner. Comfortable, quiet room with amazing beds and pillows, beautiful port views, and a convenient location for both the ferry and town centre. We would definitely stay again.

Close to the ferry port and a wonderful roof top bar and restaurant to watch the sun set.
Pros:

A beautifully appointed luxurious hotel with the most amazing staff. Lively rooms with coffee machine. We were upgraded to sea facing suite and our room was ready early.

Cons:

Theo action was quite shabby and neglected- not the hotels fault I know - but just a few streets away we were in the old Venetian port, which was nice.
