Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites

It was clean, beds were not very comfortable as well as the bedding, not very comfortable.
Our room was on the 2nd floor and near the ice machine.. very noisy a couple of times..
Front desk was great! Loved that we could park our car there early while we went to Dland. And the walk to Dland was literally right across the street of Main gate.. 5-6 min walk

If you are visiting the Disneyland theme parks you cannot beat this location for an off-park hotel. This is not Disney luxury: it is family friendly, with an indoor pool, breakfast and very comfortable rooms. Denny’s is on one side, and Cold Stone Creamery and IHOP are on the other, for off park quick bites. And the Parks entrance is directly across the street: during our visit, most of our family went back to their room at some point for rest and rejuvenation midday, when the sun was hottest. It couldn’t be more convenient, unless you are staying at a Disney park hotel. But a much more affordable option.

We were delayed checking in because rooms weren't ready. They got one room made up so we had a place to hang out until other room was ready. There was no self parking spaces, but valet parked without additional charge - and had car sitting at top of ramp when we went to check out - nice! Continental breakfast was minimal - would be really nice if there was a waffle maker! The location is very handy to Disneyland - just across the street. There's a Walgreens and CVS a couple blocks away which was handy. There are also several restaurants nearby and a cold stone. Regarding Disney, be sure to catch the color parade and fireworks at Disney and the water show at California Adventure. There is a viewing deck on the roof - can see fireworks from there, but we suggest sitting by either the castle or it's a small world to get the full effect.

Great location to Disneyland area with clean, nice rooms at a fair price with good service. Whole Inn area was very clean and daily breakfast was excellent with good support staff. Best thing we had was great water pressure for a nice shower!!

I recently brought my granddaughter. Same age as when we brought our kids 30 years ago. Still love this hotel and have stayed several times over the years.. Walk to Disneyland, restaurants next door, very nice hotel staff, indoor pool, and simple, clean comfortable rooms. Loved the rooftop fireworks viewing!

Location was perfect. The rooms were simple but clean. Staff were very nice and i appreciated the indoor pool. There is few self parking and valet is,available.

Unfortunately, my stay started on the wrong foot. At check-in, the front desk associate pulled up the wrong reservation, which belonged to another guest. Because of that mistake, I was initially charged the incorrect amount. Although the error was corrected, I somehow ended up being charged more than the rate I had originally been quoted. When I asked for an explanation, I was told the discrepancy was due to newer employees who "didn't know what they were doing." I found that response unprofessional and disappointing.

The hotel advertises a continental breakfast, but guests should know there is no real dining area. You're given something to eat, but your only options are to take it back to your room or eat outside in the parking lot.

Parking is another challenge. There are very few self-parking spaces available, and if the lot is full, you're required to use the valet service.

Finally, the mattress was much firmer than I prefer. If you enjoy a very hard mattress, this may not be an issue for you, but I found it uncomfortable.

Overall, there were several avoidable issues that made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

If the shutters are open you would be able to see in any other room, there are no true blinds.

The only thing I can say about this hotel that is good is the location to Disney.

We celebrated our parents 60th anniversary with a reunion with all six siblings in a two room suite. Our second time staying, and it won't be our last!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The location alone deserves five stars—being directly across the street from Disneyland was an absolute dream. It honestly couldn't have been more convenient. After spending a full day in the parks, we were able to walk back to the hotel in just a few minutes without dealing with traffic, parking garages, or shuttles. It made our entire trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable.

The room exceeded every expectation. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived—not a single detail was overlooked. Everything felt fresh, clean, and incredibly well maintained. We were traveling with five people, and the room was surprisingly spacious. The two queen beds plus the sofa bed provided plenty of comfortable sleeping space, and we never felt cramped. There was always enough room to move around comfortably, organize our luggage, and unwind after long park days.

One of the things we appreciated most was the daily housekeeping service. Every single day we returned to a room that looked just as immaculate as when we first checked in. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job keeping everything clean, replacing towels, making the beds perfectly, and making sure the room always felt fresh and welcoming.

The daily parking fee also includes complimentary valet service whenever you need it, which was such a nice convenience.

The continental breakfast was another highlight. It offered a great variety of options and saved us both time and money each morning.

The on-site laundry is $4 per wash and $4 per dry.

Most importantly, every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. From check-in to check-out, everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt right at home. Their kindness and professionalism made us feel like valued guests throughout our entire stay.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will absolutely stay here again on our next Disneyland trip!

This was probably our 5th or 6th stay at the Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites, and it has yet to disappoint. The location is perfection, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be staying here again for our next Disney trip.

Everything was great wish the breakfast was better but great location to Disneyland will be back

The Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites is located directly across from one of Disneyland, California Adventure park, and Disney Down Town. We found the beds to be comfortable and rooms clean. The bathroom set up was convenient for getting ready for our adventure in the morning. We would definitely recommend this hotel

Always a wonderful experience. This is our go to motel. Very comfortable and very clean.

We've stayed here a handful of times. We appreciate the customer service. It's always good. Our groceries arrived before we did. They held them for us. We let them know we wouldn't be in until 1:30 am. They made sure to hold our room and not mark us as a no-show. Being directly across the street from Disneyland is great. The price was affordable. The room was clean, had a fridge, and a microwave. We had a parlor suite A. It worked well for us. Denny's, IHop, McDonald's, & Tony Roma's are right next door. The Anaheim Garden Walk is about a 10-15 minute walk. We will stay here again. The location is great and so is the price.

Victoria at front desk didn’t do very well at check in. She wasn’t not pleasant! Everyone else we encountered were very nice!

Nothing is better than walking right across the street after closing the park for the night! Everything was clean and staff is so friendly!

Great location, older hotel with furniture but had everything we needed. Breakfast was later especially on a Monday with limited options. Staff was nice in the front desk and valet. Lady in the common breakfast area was not very friendly. Love the roof top view of the fireworks. We have stayed here multiple times.

First time staying here. The hotel and valet staff was great. The room was nice and all we needed. The location is unbeatable. They could get by on location only, but they still have first rate staffing and hospitality. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

We arrived very early before check in, but they happily offer to store our luggage in a secure area so we could goto Disneyland. The room was very clean.
