Lovely stay in a friendly little hotel with great food.
Pros:

Nice comfortable room with lovely ensuite and excellent shower. Quiet location with gardens to sit out in with views over the national park to the mountains. Very friendly, helpful and capable staff. Its great to see a young team with quiet confidence in what they are doing.
Restaurant is excellent with very creative food and the bar meal on Sunday (when the restaurant was closed) was very tasty too. Chef gave us his soda bread recipe which I've now made at home and its excellent!

Cons:

More local beers in the bar would be good and an undercover outdoor area for sitting out when the rain comes on but you still want the view.

Probably a once off visit.
Pros:

The breakfast was fine. I know this hotel well having stayed there on a number of occasions under previous management.
The atmosphere now is a bit stilted by comparison with the past.

Cons:

I would say that the dinner was not up to the quality under previous management. It was just about ok but fell short of my expectation.

A good option for staying near Killarney that was quiet and pretty close to downtown.
