Good location, but check your room
Pros:

the location is good — main sights are within walking distance, and public transport is right there. The bathroom was new and spotless, and breakfast was good

Cons:

The room let it down. We were given a basement double with no view — not acceptable for a hotel, especially since rooms on normal floors were available at check-in. It smelled strongly of damp and mildew; luckily the weather was warm enough to keep the window open the whole time.
We were out all day and only used the room to sleep, which is the only reason the damp didn't ruin the trip.
But that makes it all the more frustrating that we were woken at 6:30 in the morning by vacuuming in the corridor — far too early in a hotel full of sleeping guests.
Still worth considering for the location and value, but confirm before arrival that you won't be put in the basement.
