Hotel Residence Tabor

Pros: Room and buildings have character | 24/7 reception | Located in safe quiet street in suburbia with locals and shops, yet only a few tram stops from main station | Comfortable big bed | Power sockets were plentiful and in the right places | Clean room | Plenty of food at breakfast buffet (delicious vegetable soup and apple strudel!)

Suggestions for improvement: ramp at front door for suitcases / accessibility (only a few short steps up) | upgrade to newer card keys | install USB power sockets | Wardrobe could be a bit bigger | Safe could be more modern (but it did the job) |Provide moisturiser

Habitación limpia, personal super amable, el desayuno muy rico, elevador funcional. Todo excelente, super recomendable.

Freundliche Rezeption, aber Gebäude und Zimmer nicht wie auf den Fotos, Achtung. Zur Straße laut, zum Hof machbar. Komfort sieht anders aus.

Preisleistung

I recently had a very pleasant stay at Residence Tabor in Prague. This hotel is conveniently located within ten minute tram ride distance to the Old Town, there are also many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was very supportive in solving any issues and providing information. Breakfast was also very good. I would recommend this hotel to visitors.

Hotel conveniently located a short tram ride from main station, although is also walkable uphill.
Room a bit dated but had good air con and was very clean and comfortable. Room also had a fridge and kettle. Breakfast was nice with plenty to choose from.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Great choice for a budget hotel in Prague.

It was ok

Good budget hotel similar to Travelodge, Premier inn, Holiday inn....
Compared to this chains the breakfast is much beter and generous, mattresses are firmer, microwave and small fridge in the room and direct phone line to the front desk.
Also there are a few points for improvement (compare to the mentioned hotels):
- kettle, mugs and glasse in the room, but nor tea spoons neither tea bags.
- soap dispenser in the shower, but no soap in
- safe in the room, but no batteries in, therefore it couldn't be used
- No recycling point or informations where or how to recycle glass bottles, cans, paper...

Lobby staff were very helpful and allowed me to store my luggage in their luggage room prior to check in. The room itself was very spacious and had air conditioning and a refrigerator. The lobby is across the street. I left early in the morning so I can not comment on the breakfast. Overall this was a nice spacious room for a great price. I would stay here again.

Hotelli on vanhahko, mutta me olimme tyytyväisiä. Huone oli siisti vaikkakin lattia hieman tahmea. Pääsimme sisäänkirjautumaan jo aamulla, joka yllätti meidät positiivisesti! Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Voisin yöpyä uudelleen!

Tramvay durağının hemen yanında olması harika oldu

Rummet var stort och rymligt med det mesta man kan önska av ett hotellrum. Air condition fungerade perfekt och det fanns även en mysig balkong. Vi såg ibland små myror på golvet men det var ingenting som störde oss. Sängarna var sköna och kuddarna stora. Vi är väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse.

Overall very good, close to centre, tram stop just in front of main door and grocery shops and kebab too. Room was small but comfortable with the fridge, microwave and kettle. One star taken off only because I asked to fix my air-conditioning but it wasn't done.

Staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful especially check in lady

Allt var till vår belåtenhet. Kvinnan i receptionen kunde svara på alla frågor, helt fantastiskt,
och var till stor hjälp. Vi återkommer gärna. Spårvagnar direkt utanför hotellet. Nära till restauranger i alla smakriktningar.
