Vies en duur, maar prima locatie
Pros:

Het ontbijt was goed en het inchecksysteem is soepel. Ook is de locatie top.

Cons:

De badkamer was niet schoon. In de douche lagen zwarte haren wat leken op schaamharen van vorige gasten. Ook was er schimmel in de douchecabine. Bij aankomst lag er ook een lange zwarte haar in de wasbak. De wc rollen waren gebruikt voor ons door iemand anders. Daarbij zat er een bruine vlek op een handdoek.

Het gevolg hiervan was dat een van ons de douche helemaal niet heeft gebruikt voor de overnachting, i.v.m. de slechte hygiene.

De lampen deden het niet allemaal. Wat wel belangrijk is als je een kamer hebt zonder raam.

Het was erg gehorig. 'S nachts was het druk op de gang met dronken mensen die heel hard riepen. Ik hoorde ze nog toen ze in hun kamer uitendelijk waren. Ook hoorde je de mensen boven ons hard lopen. De lift hoorde je ook goed vanuit de kamer.

Er was een tv maar geen afstandsbediening.

En dit punt is niet perse erg, maar wel iets wat ik me afvraag: waarom waren er reclame posters in de kamer? Ik kom er om uit te rusten van de lange reis.

Als de prijs lager was, had je mij niet zo horen klagen. Maar voor meer dan 100 euro voor een nacht verwacht ik betere kwaliteit.

Good stay. Next to the station.
Pros:

Very nice stay, the staff was nice too. Next to the station so very convinient. The open bar even offers free coffee and snacks during the stay.

Sehr nah am Metro Station und Bushaltestelle gelegen. Man kommt überall hin.

Nice property, friendly staff. Unfortunately loud noise from adjacent construction.
Pros:

Modern hotel conveniently located directly next to Amsterdam-Zuid station, only 10 minutes walk from Vrije Universiteit. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

The part where our rooms were, was next to a big construction site. Starting at 6:10am, there was unbearable permanent noise from drilling.
