Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa is one of those rare hotels that doesn’t just meet expectations — it becomes a place you truly want to return to.

We first discovered this hotel back in 2022, when I literally searched for “the best hotel in Andorra.” We were planning a ski trip and New Year’s celebration, and all paths led us here.
To be absolutely sure, we visited in summer for a short stay, just to feel the atmosphere, explore the location, and experience the service. From that first visit, everything was clear: a perfect setting, a high level of comfort, spacious rooms, and genuinely warm, attentive staff. We decided immediately — we would come back for New Year.

And we never regretted it.

Since then, we have stayed at Hermitage three times, celebrating New Year here three times in total. We usually stay from December 24 to January 3, which for us is the perfect balance: skiing, a calm and elegant New Year celebration, and deep relaxation in the spa. I’m writing this review to express sincere gratitude to the hotel and its team — and to help other guests discover this truly special place.

What makes this hotel outstanding:

Spa & Wellness
A truly impressive spa spread over three levels, with various saunas, hammam, large pools with cold, warm, and hot water, and an outdoor area — especially magical in winter. After skiing, this is pure recovery and pleasure.

Dining Experience
Exceptional restaurants located within or next to the hotel, all part of the Hermitage complex. Fine dining, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and outstanding sushi. We travel extensively and love sushi — and these are genuinely among the best sushi experiences we’ve had worldwide.

The Hotel Itself
The overall design of the hotel is modern, elegant, and thoughtfully curated. There is a strong sense of quality in every detail — calm luxury without excess, and an atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment you arrive.

Rooms
Spacious, bright rooms with balconies, large bathrooms, separate showers and bathtubs — ideal for real rest and comfort.

Service & Convenience
The staff is consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming. A major advantage is the ski rental service located directly at the ski lift, which makes everything incredibly convenient — no walking in ski boots, everything is smooth and well organized.

Like any large hotel, occasional minor issues can happen — housekeeping details or small misunderstandings. What truly matters to us is that management always takes responsibility and resolves any situation with care and attention. No concern is ever ignored.

I would like to personally thank José Luis, Michael, and the concierge team — especially Luis — for their professionalism, involvement, and genuine care.

Every time we leave Hermitage, we leave with the feeling that we were truly cared for, welcomed, and valued.
That is why we will continue to return again and again.

We spent a night here and really enjoyed every moment of it. The Spa is just amazing, 3 floors of relaxing areas where you can enjoy saunas , pools of different temperatures , ice fountain , jets etc. Our room had an amazing view of the downhill ski pista. We sat on our terrace enjoying the view with a nice cup of coffee. Breakfast was another highlight , Daniela receiving us in an extremely friendly way , she brought us to our table. Again amazing views and the buffet had just about anything you could want for breakfast. Nice , quick and friendly service , good cappuchino. Flawless check out , valet parking and we were on our way. Wish we could come here every year. A big thank you to all staff.

To stay at the Sport Hermitage Hotel is to truly connect with beauty and nature. Every room faces the majestic mountains, and during our visit, it snowed, making us feel as though we were living inside a Hallmark Christmas card. The service is exceptional—whether in the restaurants, spa, reception, room service, or any other detail you might need. It’s not just a wonderful hotel; it’s an even better team.
We loved it so much that we extended our stay and still didn’t want to leave. I can’t wait to return.

ok where do i even start with this hotel? we spent ages researching where to stay on a first road trip to Andorra, and we are so glad we decided to stay at Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa. I genuinely can not recommend this hotel enough as for me and my wife it was perfect. I loved the fact that by the 2nd day everyone knew my name, all the staff were super friendly, supportive, providing advice and guidance as required. The parking across the hotel was super convenient and now that we know the bus routes we didnt need our car for much else.
The hotel itself is how you see it in the pictures but in reality it is so much better in person. The lobby is grand, i love fact the the hotel is built into the side of a mountain and all the rooms are below road level. Our room 406 was amazing, the room service team, front of house, restaurant staff and the breakfast teams were all fantastic. I want to mention a few people who made our stay extra special, Sergio, William, Kevin, Eric, Maria, Juno and Oscar all deserve to be recognized for their professionalism and mannerism and i really hope the hotel management provide my comments to the team. i mentioned these people as i engaged with this staff every day of our 5 night stay. I highly recommend this hotel, location is perfect, staff are amazing, the food is fantastic too. Me and my wife are not Skiiers but we are already planning our next trip.

BEAUTIFUL hotel! This place is special. The pictures don't do it justice. The room was fantastic and overlooked the mountains. The spa area was soooo cool (three floors!) ! We had some amazing meals at the hotel restaurants. The breakfast was one of the best we've had anywhere in the world. Even little touches like jars of candy to grab a few pieces on your way by.

We did a range Rover tour of the mountain which was really fun. We visited before ski season so the hotel and town were quiet, but we really loved our stay. The hotel and the hospitality were really great and the staff were so nice. We loved it so much that we wanted to bring back a T-shirt or something with the hotel brand. They didn't have a merchandise store but packed up a beautiful mug like you have in the room. So thoughtful! We can't wait to come back and see it during the winter ski season!

Perfect honeymoon at the sport & wellness hermitage spa. From the delicious breakfast to the perfect hammam., everything was cozy chic and beautiful. The staff is there for any needs. You only worry about yourself and spending a nice time at the gym and spa. The Koy Hermitage restaurant was a real success, worth it. This hotel is surrounded by art and design everywhere. A wonder to look at from an artist's eye. Sense of detail and care. Would recommand 100%. Would come back again to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Nous revenons d’un séjour à trois au Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa à Soldeu, et nous en gardons un souvenir mémorable. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été touchés par l’accueil du personnel : attentionné, chaleureux, incroyablement professionnel, et surtout d’une finesse rare dans l’adaptation à chaque client. À aucun moment nous ne nous sommes sentis comme de simples numéros – bien au contraire, chaque échange semblait personnalisé, sincère et bienveillant.

Le petit-déjeuner est un moment de pur bonheur. Produits frais, jus pressés à la minute, large choix sucré/salé, service à table pour les plats chauds, et une qualité constante. Tout y est savoureux, généreux, maîtrisé. Nous avons rarement vu un tel niveau d’exigence dans un buffet hôtelier.

La chambre, spacieuse et décorée avec goût, offrait une vue superbe sur la montagne. Literie irréprochable, salle de bain raffinée, et un calme absolu pour se reposer après les journées au spa.

Enfin, le spa est un bijou : ambiance apaisante, installations haut de gamme, propreté parfaite, et une réelle invitation au lâcher-prise.

Nous sommes repartis ressourcés, conquis, et avec l’envie d’y revenir très vite. Une adresse qui conjugue luxe, attention humaine et cadre exceptionnel avec brio.

Not easy to find a better hotel in the whole world. It was our third stay and what surprises us the most is everytime the quality in every detail amazes us.

Top location, we had a magnificent suite with 'mountain view' - professional and very attentive staff - excellent service - top restaurants (Michelin star restaurant offering an experimental journey highlighting regional products and Sol I Neu offering authentic and typical dishes of Andorra ...) - great spa and swimming pool!
