Back in the USSR!

Petit déjeuner correct, mais ambiance "soviètique": affectation d'office dans l'une des 2 salles à manger (celle sans fenêtre extérieure) laissant penser que nous étions considérés comme des clients de 2ème classe, salle triste, personnel s'activant sans manifester d'intérêt pour les clients, clientèle exclusivement âgée.

Cons:

La procédure de check-in a duré 40 minutes. Nous nous sommes présentés environ 15 minutes après avoir réservé sur Booking. Il semble que l'information sur notre réservation n'était pas encore parvenue à la réception. Nous avons été accueillis par une personne austère, style fonctionnaire revêche, manifestement méfiante à notre égard, malgré la confirmation de Booking que nous lui avons montrée. Elle nous a priés d'attendre dans le hall pendant qu'elle procédait à différentes vérifications et établissait (à la main) les différents documents nécessaire au checking-in, report des numéros de pièces d'identité, établissement du voucher de petit-dej etc. Au bout de 35-40 minutes, nous avons pu gagner la chambre, pas un mot d'excuse pour l'attente! Cet établissement n'est pas manifestement pas conçu pour les touristes de passage, mais pour les curistes allemands en long séjour.

Pros:

Tento hotel už začíná (resp. je) pro mě v Mariánských lázních jistota. Vše proběhlo naprosto bezproblémově. I moji rodiče si pochvalovali hotel. Na recepci nám vše ochotně vysvětlila příjemná recepční. Stále se mi líbí bufetový výběr nejen na snídani a večeři, ale i logické oddělení studeného a teplého bufetu, navíc obojí (myšleno snídaně i večeře) v nadprůměrné kvalitě a dostatečně širokém výběru. Dobré je i to, že u teplé části bufetu (a občas i u studené) se prakticky pořád pohybují kuchaři, takže se může člověk doptat na různé detaily stravy a případně i jídla pochválit přímo kuchaři. Pokoj byl velmi tichý a postel pohodlná, dokonce i s (pro mě) optimálně tlustým, spíš vlastně tenkým, polštářem. I tentokrát jsem ocenil naprostou blízkost hotelu ke kolonádě. Výborná je možnost (po předchozí rezervaci) parkovat na vyhrazeném uzavřeném parkovišti.

Cons:

Kdybych chtěl být opravdu hnidopich a hledal i ty nejmenší důvody ke stížnosti, tak bych napsal, že na snídani by mohl být větší výběr uzenin, a že by mohly být nějak označené pokrmy spadající do diet (jestli ovšem tady takové jsou). Ale jinak mě nenapadá nic negativního, co by stálo za zmínku.

Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Schönes Ambiente. In den Zimmern ist es sehr ruhig, man hört kaum Geräusche vom Gang. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Wenn man nur das Frühstück bucht wird man jeden morgen an einen neuen Tisch zugewiesen (Halbpension hat feste Plätze). Jeden Morgen muss man warten und fragen wo man sitzen kann, um dann meistens doch an den selben Tisch gesetzt zu werden.

A beautiful area and a beautiful hotel to enjoy it all from.
Pros:

An incredible positive experience to stay in such a beautiful hotel.
The rooms were incredible, with a lovely little balcony overlooking the local park and allowing us to take in the fresh air. Rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of little goodies and sweets, all for free, left for our enjoyment.
The food in the restaurant was excellent, both breakfast and dinner, and the staff looking after us were exceptional. All were well trained, professional and very very helpful.
The hotel and the spa facilities were a delight to use.
Additionally, there were some very good golf courses in the vicinity (all within c.40 mins drive) and which added to the list of activities we enjoyed in the area, and all with very reasonable green fee rates.
All in all, an superb location, a fabulous hotel, and my only regret, is that I didn't stay longer. I'll definitely be back.

sehr schöne gut beheizte Zimmer in einem gepflegten Hotelresort, tolles Frühstück, zentral gelegen, nette Bars und Cafés im Hotelbereich, nette Abendunterhaltung an der Bar, imposantes Römerbad im Jugendstil-Sanatorium

Cons:

Saunabereich beim modernen Pool könnte größer und liebevoller gestaltet sein, Schwimmbereich eher klein, jedoch gut temperiert, aufgrund der Weitläufigkeit der Anlage teilweise lange Fußwege
