Hotel Residence Agnes

Everything was superb! The welcome and customer service was extraordinary! Choose this place over any 5 or 6 star hotel. As soon as we were checking in, they brought us drinks and deserts to enjoy. Frank and his family and staff’s attention ensured that we were given a great room, tourist ideas, restaurant recommendations, etc. Location is within half a mile of old town. Breakfast was wonderful. Be sure to try the homemade apple strudel…it is the best that I have ever had. The staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect, your vacation is memorable, and that you are treated like their number one VIP. During our next visit to Prague, we plan to stay at only one place, Hotel Residence Agnes.

A fantastic experience! Not only is the hotel beautiful, but all the staff were so helpful, friendly, engaging, and they did everything they could to make our stay memorable! Yhey offer a wonderful buffet breakfast, and the location is also perfect.

We booked here based on previous reviews. I am not sure Agnes deserves the highest rating oh all lodgings in Prague but it was pretty good. They put us in 304 and it was very nice. The only thing missing were robes and a USB charging port near the bed. The location is a 10 minute walk to the astronomical clock and old town. It was always quiet. But the best part was the incredible staff. They had lots of people to make our stay as easy and pleasant as possible. At check in they sat us down with a walk map and helped lay out our visit highlighting major attractions on the map—just like a high end travel agent. We would stay here again. And we loved the free pickup at the train station and ride to the airport all because we booked 3 nights there. This stay ended our 50 day trip through 8 countries and Agnes had the best service staff of the trip.

My family (husband and 2 young boys) visited this hotel for 4 nights and all I can say is that it left such an indelible impression, that I am currently on the airplane home writing this review. Sometimes seeing so many positive reviews, one might think that they cannot all possibly be true, but honestly, all of the praise doesn't do this hotel justice. Warm, inviting, clean, homey, cozy, delectable breakfast, and located in such a central spot to all the attractions in Prague, Hotel Residence Agnes checks off all the boxes. The staff is absolutely incredible and never have we experienced such personalized service and hospitality. They sit down with each and every guest to customize an itinerary for any travelers needs. No request is too large. They were so kind and wonderful to our children and we cannot express our gratitude enough. Please don't hesitate to book here, in fact, look no further. We are already hoping to plan a return trip!

11 years ago we stayed here and had the time of our lives. This time we were in a cruise but decided to surprise Frank and the staff and walked over and said hey we’re back! It was like a homecoming just chatting and getting filled in on what has been happening since our last visit. All I can say is if you’re not on a cruise but coming to beautiful Prague this hotel is a must! Great staff, food is amazing and you are treated like family. Hopefully we will be back here again! Thank you all for everything!

We just came back from a 5 day trip to Prague. During our stay at your hotel, we were amazed by just how good the experience was. From the service to the breakfast, and the fantastic location, every aspect was on point and absolutely perfect. Each and every one of the staff members were extremely warm, friendly and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better overall experience, everything was simply impecable. היגענו מאוחר בערב, הבחור בקבלה היה כל כך נחמד ומסביר פנים.. מייד היציע שתייה ואז היסביר לנו קצת פרטים על העיר ומפה.. מאוד חביב ועוזר בכל. בכלל כולם נחמדים, בארוחת הבוקר מייד לומדים אותך ונגישים להכל, ארוחת בוקר עשירה וטעימה. מנהל המלון והבעלים יוצא מן הכלל, כייף להיתארח אצלם 👍😊.

My review of the Hotel Residence Agnes must begin by complimenting the entire staff for making our stay so very enjoyable. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful. No matter the request, they were happy to help. Thank you to owner Frank and the amazing team of Denise, Victoria, Natalie, Steven, Lucas, Barbara, Lenka and Frank … and surely others behind the scenes who made our stay wonderful. We received great advice on local travel, restaurants (including making reservations on our behalf) and getting around the neighborhood. Everyone spoke English extremely well. The hotel is on a side street so it is very quiet, but it is less than ten minutes’ walk to Old Town Square and many landmarks, tourist attractions (including the fascinating Jewish Town area) and a wide array of restaurants.

The included breakfast is fabulous. They offer a host of exceptional and varied baked goods plus several hot dishes (try the crepes!), fruit, cheeses, meats, yogurt, breads, cereals, and so much more. Frank and his staff were always there to greet us each morning of our five-night stay and bring us our beverage of choice to our table. Omelets were also available made to order but we had so much else to choose from that we never got around to trying their omelets.

Our “deluxe” category room was spacious and comfortable (if a bit drab in color scheme) with a king size bed, closet/dresser cabinet and desk table. Good sized bathroom with ample storage space under the sink. Excellent water pressure in the shower and good temperature control.

Our only minor inconvenience was the absence of outlets directly next to the bed for plugging in our phones at night, but there were outlets available at the desk so we used those and managed perfectly well.

We loved Prague and found so many wonderful things to see and do during our stay. But without question the comfort, convenience and joy of staying at this hotel enhanced our stay enormously.

Fantastiskt på alla sätt, läget va perfekt, vi kom med motorcyklar så bara att köra in och parkera utanför entrén 🤩
Personalen va bara fantastisk, har inte ens på de dyraste exklusivaste hotellen ja besökt fått denna service ♥️

Rent och fräscht, fint, mycket serviceminded personal. Väldigt bra läge. Aldrig haft så bra service på ett hotell tror jag. Bra frukost.
