The location was great. When we checked in, the woman at the desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She ripped pages out of her own notebook to write down restaurants for us to try for dinner and then called and made a reservation for us. When we told her we would be driving the Ring of Kerry the next day, she plotted out on a map all of the things she recommended and restaurants we should try on our journey.
Parking can be a pain. If you arrive in the evening on a Saturday, make sure you pack your patience and be prepared to walk a block or two from your car.
Turns out Killarney is a bit of a party town. While we were there, we saw at least 5 different bachelor/bachelorette parties. Not really a problem (if you've ever visited Amsterdam, you get it), but it did make for a busy and rowdy night that we were not expecting. We popped into an "underground bar" for a nightcap after dinner. It was super cute, but the clientele was rough. At one point I had to chase down a guy who randomly stole a chair from our table while half our party was at the bar. I got the chair back, but not without standing my ground to the point of almost having a fight. While we were drinking our cocktails, one guy went up to the table next to us and tried to start a fight with a kid there. It got de-escalated, but made a lot of people uncomfortable.
I will say, absolutely none of this has to do with the hotel - just an indictment of Killarney, and particular establishments themselves.
Location was perfect. Staff were exceptional. Mary on reception was amazing. Breakfast was made to order which is very unusual these days. The rooms were spotless and very spacious. Loved it.
Absolutly nothing. There were 6 of us staying and no-one had a bad word to say.
Great overnight stay staff delightful , great breakfast and location.
Staff and breakfast
The weather. I would like a larger foyer to sit and relax, have a drink etc.

Breakfast very good
Location very good
Hotel clean
Staff professional, friendly and helpful
Breakfast should be included with the initial price
very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The staff were very nice and the property was in an excellent location.
Internet service while in the room was almost non-existent. The only place where the signal was strong was in the lobby. It appears that we were not the only ones complaining about the issue.
Staff were helpful and friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Had nice view out the window of the street below. Good location to town and bus stops
nothing stands out as unlikeable
Great Location super nice staff and a special mention to Kate she went above and beyond and had a great personality but so did all the staff. Breakfast was well worth having and was cooked to order and so fresh
The floors are very creaky when walking around room and hallway but other than that nothing negative to say
very good hotel especially for the price
Great hotel and location - everything in the city center was easily walkable! The room was spacious and clean and staff were incredibly nice.
Can’t fault the cleaning one bit, everything was spotless. Staff, especially the lady in reception was a very kind and helpful lady. Felt very safe and secure, as when returning to the hotel late, a bouncer was monitoring who was staying. Considering it is close to the town centre it was very quiet.
Breakfast was very tasty, however the full Irish breakfast could have had a little more on the plate. Lighting was a little poor in the room but that was probably because we were facing a wall.
Breakfast was excellent, very well presented & delicious.
Staff were very helpful & informative.
