Mycket trivsamt hotell med fantastisk atmosfär! Rekommenderas!

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful. Comfortable stay. Amazing view from the balcony!! We stayed during our alpe-adria cycle tour and there was a safe place to store the bikes. Some vegan options at breakfast too. They also do afternoon snacks/soup which was tasty too!

We recently had an unfortunate accident that forced us to cancel our holiday immediately. Every other business involved in our trip—airline, ski rental, and other facilities—showed great understanding and promptly refunded our bookings without hesitation. Their kindness and professionalism made a difficult situation a little easier to bear.

Unfortunately, this hotel was the only exception. Not only did they refuse to refund our stay, but they also charged us for three nights in a room we couldn’t use. What’s even more disappointing is that they didn’t show the slightest bit of empathy—no inquiry about our well-being, no offer to help, just a cold transaction.

On a skiing trip, accidents can happen to anyone, and the way a hotel handles such situations says a lot about their values. If you’re planning a trip here, keep this in mind when making a booking. Good customer service and basic human decency make all the difference, and sadly, this hotel failed on both fronts. We won’t be booking here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values compassionate and understanding hospitality.

Beautiful boutique hotel, perfect for ski-tourists in Bad Gastein with free shuttle to the slopes. Nice and big rooms, relaxing spa, great restaurant with delicious breakfast! Highly recommend

Good price, location & amenities

The view was fantastic! And the breakfast was incredible! The room is old but nicely cleaned. They should change the lights, though. It’s quite dark in the room.

Wonderful

Ett hotell med underbar atmosfär. Mycket trevlig, hjälpsam och kunnig personal. Fantastisk frukost och man erbjöds även fri lunch, vilket var trevligt. Restaurangen erbjöd trerätters och all mat var mycket god och vällagad. Ett hotell vi gärna återkommer till 😀

Da jeg kørte til hotellet tænkte jeg at det godt nok lå langt væk fra byen. Men en sti gjorde at det kun tog 10 min at gå ned i byen.

Hotellet byder på en total afslappet stemning og det ligger super flot. Personalet er en stor del af oplevelsen, og jeg havde et virkelig lækkert ophold.

FANTASTISK MORGENMAD!

Faktisk sov jeg det halve af natten i en af hængekøjerne, som er montoret på den fælles altan.

Kan klart anbefale dette sted til par og singlerejsende.

Thank you very much for your service during our stay from 6th till 9th June 2024.We really enjoyed our stay well. The hotel itself is difficult to describe, it is mix of everything old & new stuff but has very nice atmosphere indeed. Location is perfect for summer holiday and food (we had HB) was simple & delicious. Fri BBQ was simple great. We had a nice room with fantastic mountains view, therefore during our stay we do not need to ‘’turn on’’ a small TV :)

Very good family hotel neat ski pass

All good. It has tight parking, yet easily accessible anyway (if you can drive and reverse). Very nice SPA area with healthy snacks, aroma water for saunas and comfy resting spots.

This hotel is an absolute Gem! Lovingly restored by the owner and decorated to an incredible level. All of the staff were personable and helpful and wonderful. I will stay here every time I am traveling through this area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fantastiskt god mat. Trevlig personal

Das Miramonte ist ein sehr schönes und stylisches Hotel. Man merkt hier die Liebe zum Detail. Wir waren 3 Tage vor Ort und hatten Halbpension gebucht. Jedes Essen wird mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. Es wird mit regionalen Produkten gekocht. Von der Moossuppe über die marinierte Gasteiner Räucherforelle mit Kren bis hin zum Barbeque mit Fleisch aus der Region war alles dabei. Auch ein wirklich tolles Frühstück, dass man eigentlich schon Brunch nennen kann, gibt es.
Ein Hotel zum länger Verweilen! Sehr nettes Personal in allen Bereichen.
Danke für die schöne Zeit bei Euch. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 😊

This was my #3 stay at Hotel Miramonte, my first in the Summer.
What a wonderful stay! This is a cool hotel in Bad Gastein - a mixture of design, culture and nature. I traveled solo this time and had a fantastic time. I had a double room with a valley view - and the view was simply stunning. I could lie in bed and watch the morning mist lift over the valley - a perfect way to start the day. The hotel has a cool retro feel but is elegant at the same time and there are many charming, sometimes amusing, details throughout the interiors. The spa terrace wraps around the hotel looking over the valley and up toward the mountains, offering a perfect lounging spot after a day of hiking. And it was warm enough this August to sit out on the terrace bar for an aperitivo and/or dinner, later to lounge by the large fire pit as the light faded. Perfect.
I was very happy with my room, not only with the view, but the bed was very comfortable and the room felt so spacious with doors that open out onto a terrace with hammock, sofa and lounge chair.
Hotel Miramonte attracts an interesting European crowd and I had a great time meeting new people. It’s sister hotel Haus Hirt is just 10min walking distance and I spent time between the two hotels, joining the hiking group that left Haus Hirt each morning for a day in the mountains and having dinner there with friends. I also enjoyed the Yoga at the Pavillion, which is 8 min walk from Miramonte with excellent yoga teachers. The sessions were first class. Miramonte also has its own yoga room which looks out onto the mountains - an inspiring spot for yoga! I was very happy with the food options and the quality of the plates. There is a limited range of wines but all wines on the list are very good! The Spa has an interesting menu and I tried out the Thermal Bath - a soak in warm healing thermal water pumped direct from the natural springs in the valley, springs Bad Gastein is famous for. The water boasts all sorts of benefits and I certainly slept well later that night!
I love this place and I am definitely heading back to Hotel Miramonte next Summer.

beste Location für eine workation-auszeit in den bergen!

Tolle Unterkunft mit besonderem Flair, leckerem Essen und nettem Personal. Leider war das Servicepersonal beim Abendessen etwas überfordert und das WLAN war sehr schlecht (nicht für einen Businesstrip geeignet).

Leider gibt es offenbar Probleme bei der Schnittstelle zwischen Expedia und dem Hotel. Pre-CheckIn hat nicht funktioniert, mussten alle Daten noch einmal eingeben. Bezahlung über Expedia hat nicht funktioniert mussten im Hotel die Ganze Summe begleichen obwohl wir dachten es wird von Expedia abgebucht. Im Restaurant leider nicht sehr profesionelles Service. Mussten im Sehr lange auf Getränke warten und wurden auch nicht ein 2tes Mal gefragt. Frühstück war Top! Gute Vegetarische alternativen, frische Produkte, nettes Service, immer reichlich vorhanden.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Miramonte - we booked a large panorama room, and it was perfect - the view from the terrace was wonderful, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a lovely haven with a bathtub, and we felt right at home watching the morning news in bed. We went half board, and the food was great - a huge selection of breakfast options, both cooked and uncooked, lovely soup and cakes if you’re around in the afternoon and feeling peckish and dinner was always a pleasure, with a good selection of wines/cocktails etc. A special shout has to go out to the head chef who really makes an effort, and also the senior waiter and the lovely friendly bartender.

In short, a beautiful hotel, with lots of style and charm, with a relaxed friendly atmosphere and international feel - perfect for us and good value for money. We have booked to return in January for a longer stay, as we felt like we were only just getting to know our way around this wonderful valley, with all it has to offer in every season!
