A warm and friendly hotel, highly recommend.
Pros:

What can I say, from the moment we turned up to check in as a friend group of four we were given the warmest welcome. The hotel is oldly worldly and very cosy. The staff were accomadating at all times and the breakfast was lovely every morning. The rooms were clean, warm and spacious. We spent time in the bar area at night chatting with the locals who also use the bar to socialise. We felt welcomed at all times. They have darts in the hotel aswell which was fun to play. We booked the hot tub and we were a little disappointed it wasn't working during our stay. There is also a bus stop straight outside the hotel which takes you straight into reykjavik centre for £4 each way that run efficiently and are very clean. It's a half hour ride into the centre. On our last night we saw the northern lights from the hotel which made our holiday, such a wonderful ending to a wonderful stay.

Good suburban location.
Pros:

Good, filling continental breakfast. We had expected to pay for it, but it was offered complimentary.
Motel-style building, with easy access to parking lot.
Comfortable room.
Good location - easy access to city/ airports.
Many dinner options nearby.

Cons:

If a light sleeper - walls are a tad thin, and the small refrigerator hums at times.

Pros:

We liked the room size of the twin room with ensuite bathroom. Mini fridge was a plus. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Location on our way back to Reykjavík was perfect for us. Free parking. Clean, quiet with a view from the bedroom. Good wifi signal. Bar on site.

Cons:

Expensive breakfast (the day before, it was quoted 15€ but on D-day, il was invoice 22€). Limited parking space when hôtel is fully booked.

Decent value but housekeeping needs to be improved.
Pros:

The cheapest room for a family around Reykjavik at the time.

Cons:

Someone was impatient and didn't wait for the towels to dry. Then someone put those wet towels on the dry bed soaking the duvets in all the beds.
