Value for money, views and tasty food
Pros:

The really friendly staff and manager were very polite and showed genuin interest in offering good service and making me feel warmly welcome as their guest. I booked a double room with a balcony that has side sea view, from where I could even see some sandy beaches at a distance as well as the sea and nice surroundings. The popular restaurant on site, Restaurant Theodosí, which is set on the ground floor of the hotel, has sea views and serves excellent food. The filled zucchini flowers were delicious. I ordered full course during my one night stay, and the room, service and food met my expectations. The modern bathroom connected to my room was very clean. I would give a 9,5 score out of 10 based on the experience from my short stay.

Cons:

To get a full score for hotel facilities the pool could've been a little larger, but is naturally restricted by the size of the outdoor space. But I was staying at the end of season and choose not to take a swim due to the weather that day, so it didn't make much of a difference. Although the road to the hotel isn't steep, be aware that this area of town is a little elevated. Which however represented no problem to me, and regarded from the positive side it offers great views to be a little higher up.

Pros:

La gentillesse du personnel. Les repas très bons.

Cons:

La situation géographique par rapport au niveau de la mer et de la plage il faut grimper et marcher une bonne demi-heure ( quand il fait plus de 30 degrés c’est chaud).
Nous avions pris la demi-pension, pour les repas du soir nous pouvions choisir à la carte ( carte assez exhaustive), mais si le plat était à plus de 20€ nous devions payer le supplément. Par contre si un plat coutait moins de 20€ ( ex 13,50€ et que l’on prenait un complément comme des pommes frites à 4,50€ on devait quand même payer les 4,50€.
Je ne trouve pas cela correct.

Pros:

Hele aardige mensen, fijn zwembad en lig mogelijkheden erbij, ontbijt van alles voorzien (incl koffie van verse bonen), restaurant erbij met lekker eten, mooi uitzicht, dichtbij meerdere stranden, 2km lopen naar het stadje, 400m vanaf het hotel een bus station.

Cons:

De kamer deuren waren niet goed geïsoleerd tegen geluid.

Pros:

Petit hôtel familial très agréable. Un peu loin à pied du port vénitien de chania mais à moins de 10 minutes en voiture. Le dîner en demi-pension à la carte très sympa. Belles criques à quelques minutes en voiture.

Cons:

Nous n’avons pas pu utiliser la piscine en cette fin de saison.

Pros:

Great hotel,very clean and friendly staff.The only problem is you have to walk up a hill to reach the hotel.We booked transfers with Love holidays so not sure of transfer company.We were dropped late at night with luggage in the dark and told to walk up, same on pick up to airport.Would not recommend for elderly or disabled as steps to reception.You can get a taxi for 10 euro to the Venetian harbour or use the local bus.Nice restaurant for Breakfast or Evening meal.

Relaxing hotel within walking distance of the best beaches and Chania
Pros:

The hotel is located at the top of a hill with wonderful views of the ocean, beaches, Chania and the mountains. It is quiet and not too big so the service felt very personal.
The beach is a quick walk downhill and - in the case of the Golden Beach - very shallow and safe.
Our room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the balcony, too. An extra bed for our kid was provided quickly even though out travel agency had not passed on the request.
The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the room was always turned out neatly by the chambermaids. Not easy when we brought back quite a bit of sand from the nearby beach!
The breakfast buffet and lovely a la carte dinner made the stay truly memorable.

Pros:

The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and the view is nice, we had partial seaview. The restaurant is very good, highly recommend vegetarian moussaka and prawns. We enjoy walking, thus the location was perfect, for us everything was easily accessible even without car.
