Grand Mercure Bangalore

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall!
The highlight of my experience was definitely the breakfast — truly amazing with a wide variety of options and everything prepared to perfection. The food quality, taste, and presentation were exceptional.
A special thanks to Chef Sandeep Joshi for curating such a delicious spread. His attention to detail and flavors really made the breakfast memorable.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bangalore — great hospitality and outstanding food!

As always the Mercure Grand has been very comfortable! The staff are extremely professional and looked after our ever need.

I really enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The hotel room was nice and had everything you need, also the cleaning personal did a great job (Thanks to Venkat). Even though it is in the middle of Bangalore, you do not hear any noises from the street. In addition the people working at the hotel were super helpful and did everything what they could to support for any request.

Grand Mercure Bangalore is a solid 4-star hotel. The towels are not the whitest, the pillows are a bit lumpy, and the pool is not heated.

What is has going for it is location—in a quiet neighborhood in Kormangala; room size—all suite with a fully equipped kitchen; and close proximity to two neighborhood parks.

Foregoing the Accor points and booking through Super.com I paid just over $100 a night with breakfast which seemed like good value. The breakfast buffet has decent variety with multiple cook to order options and a daily rotation of specials.

Not a good value is the hotel’s charge for airport pick-up—the advertised price is 4,500 rupees, but after taxes, it is closer to 5,400—3-4x more than the Uber Black going rate. Also not a good value is the hotel spa—at least 50% markup compared to the excellent Asian Woman Spa a few blocks away.

The reason I am giving this otherwise decent experience 5 instead of 4 stars is that the staff—particularly Anita at the front desk go above and beyond—helping with everything from activity ideas to shopping destinations. I would definitely stay here again.
