Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru must pay taxes (IVA - 18%). To be exempt, a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. C'est la première fois que nous sommes aussi déçus d'un hôtel que nous pensions vraiment bien au vu de la note et des commentaires. D'ailleurs, nous avions meme décidé d'y rester 5 nuits.
Alors certes le cadre est réellement magnifique! Le ranch avec les chevaux, le lagon avec les canards, les grandes etendues vertes, la plaine de jeux pour enfants, tout ca c'est génial et reposant. Et on peut meme y faire du Pédalo et jouer au billard.
Par contre en ce qui concerne le service, c'est a la limite du ridicule.
Déjà il faut savoir qu'on nous avait attribué une chambre au rez de chaussée, juste à cote de la réception, que le wifi ne fonctionnait pas et que les spots du jardin arrivaient droit sur notre fenêtre donc de la lumière non stop dans la chambre.
Le premier soir, nous avons dû aller dans les cuisines pour que quelqu'un daigne nous servir au restaurant.
Lors de notre séjour, nous avions prevu une grosse excursion démarrant à 3h du matin. Nous avions demandé à l'avance d'avoir des breakfast box, ce à quoi on nous avait répondu qu'il n'y avait aucun soucis. Le lendemain, rien. L'information n'était pas passée et donc nous sommes partis sans rien.
Ensuite la piscine n'est absolument pas chauffée (annonce mensongère), ce qui est dommage car c'est aussi pour cela que nous avions décidé de réserver dans un si bel hôtel apres avoir parcouru le Pérou 2 semaines et en changeant d'endroit tous les jours.
Il faut savoir aussi que l'hôtel n'est actif que le wk et pas la semaine. Dimanche, il y avait des serveurs au bar de l'hôtel qui nous servaient à boire près de la piscine, il y avait de la musique, du personnel du restaurant qui nous servaient à manger.... et la semaine rien de tout ça.
Nous avons meme ete trouver la réception pour savoir ce qu'il en etait et on nous a répondu qu'il n'y avait pas assez de client pour mettre des serveurs à "notre disposition".

I love watching and interacting with the geese and ducks. The lake is wonderful. They have many ammenities to play with. The staff is warm and servicing.
No AC and since it's near a lake you don't want to open your windows at night because of all the flying bugs going around (mostly at night). The horses are mostly decoration. It's also far-away (1 hour drive) from most of Arequipa city's landmarks.
