Lovely hotel right in a really central location perfect for visiting a fabulous city. Room was excellent with all facilities and great breakfast.
Great central location on a Main Street. Nice breakfast. Room was very small with just a single bed. Not easy to get in with key. No view. Ok for one night stopover.
When stopping in Olbia to visit a good place to stay. Be carefull to coordinate the arrival by taxi as the road in front is not for pedestrians.
The pictures on websites are flattering to say the least. We booked a room with a balcony that was basically a door leading to a shelf! The air conditioning was leaking and caused a puddle in the floor great was extremely dangerous and the shower was basically a drip of tepid water. The noise from the street is horrendous and they don’t warn you that you stay over a restaurant that plays music into the early hours so forget a good night’s sleep- food there is awful by the way and much better available in the area. After seeking help from Giulia and Carmen In reception we weee moved to another room that was basically the last room available in the hotel with no view and smelt mouldy. As this room was considerably cheaper than the one booked I asked for a refund and after being passed to the owner I was “gifted” a refund. The refund has never turned up and I have been lied to several times by the staff at the hotel. Olbia is lovely but stay elsewhere as although I accept things break and accidents happen being lied to is not the way to run a hotel. I have been around the world and never been treated this way. Avoid to have a nice trip.
Ragazzo in reception, giovane, professionale e simpatico.
We stayed at Hotel Centrale, and indeed, it is located very centrally, in Olbia’s lively main (shopping/restaurant) street. The room we booked was a superior room (all superior rooms face the main street), #301, which was nice, modern, clean, air-conditioned, and offered great views from its two bright windows. However, next to the hotel is a bar located, same owner I believe, and they turn up the volume, outside on the street, right under your lovely balcony, till 01:00am… no fun, no sleep! So, we asked for another room, got the ‘family‘ room, #206, at the back which was bigger but less bright as the previous room. So, just be aware, if you like loud live music, with people cheering, singing and dancing, this could be the place for you, no doubt, but if you prefer more tranquility, there are other options! We had to be at the airport at 04:00am, Taxi Bruno charges €60, for a drive that takes just 3 kms (walking is no option), damn! Furthermore, breakfast was sufficient, the young staff pleasant but unfortunately they forgot the promised breakfast takeaway…
Very nice hotel and good service. Thank you!
No problem endorsing this hotel for a stay . Right in the middle of the Main Street surrounded by eateries and retailers . We had a vehicle and it was parked approximately 10 minute walk from hotel situated near the Ferris wheel , free public car park .Room and bathroom good size . Ask for a balcony room overlooking the Main Street , this is a pedestrian area so there are no cars .
Lovely hotel in an ideal position in the centre of Olbia.
Hotel Centrale ticks all the boxes and the staff are outstanding - kind, courteous and just amazingly helpful at every level.
Location is fantastic and reception lady was excellent.
There was very loud music from a bar until 1am right next to the hotel. We were in the room just above this and could hear this easily with all windows closed. Not great given we had to get up at 5am for a flight. I would not have booked this if I had known.
There was only a bed sheet as a cover on the bed. The air conditioning turned off in the middle of the night so was very hot again not helping the lack of sleep. We also unfortunately had a cockroach running around in our room. I did ask reception for insect spray as we were concerned there might be more and she was genuinely shocked and said it may have entered the room when cleaning in the day but it certainly didn’t help our poor experience and we were not offered an alternative room.
Personnel sympathique
Vantaggi GOLD? solamente dopo mia insistenza.
Black out di notte
Terribile esperienza. Never
Molto gentili e disponibili
The hotel is nice and has a central location. I’d you’re travelling with bigger bags you may want to avoid since cars can’t go all the way to the entrance.
It’s right next to a bar, so there will be noise all night until 12 with loud music. Also, be careful if you leave anything. I left my pijamada and asked to come pick it up later and a very rude lady told me they didn’t have it even though I am 100% sure it’s there. Make sure to take care of your belongings if you stay here.
Wonderful stay in this centrally located hotel. Had a lovely room at the back of the hotel, so it was quiet. Great air conditioning too.
The staff at this hotel are fabulous. They were all so professional and friendly. Krisztina in particular gave us great restaurant recommendations and helped us out with a luggage issue.
We’ll definitely be back here! Grazie mille for everything!
I did receive the wine as it was in the refrigerator.
The staff were very helpful and friendly!
We were traveling with our two sons. We got one of their family rooms and it was one of the best we’ve ever had. The location was great. Olbia is a fantastic walking city. If flying in and out plan an extra day here. The service was also very friendly.
Great location! In the heart of the city and you can walk to anything you need.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel it’s self was nice and our room was everything we needed. Even included 2 free water bottles everyday!
The bed could definitely have been a little softer.. but we have come to realize that hard beds are a very European thing.
The hotel also offers a good selection of free breakfast service as well!
Would definitely recommend
