Not a pleasant experience
Pros:

Given a free upgrade no hand soap, no tissue, broken toilet needed plunging twice. Noisy water taps.
Hotel is getting very tiered looking.
When we complained at front desk on check out they were sorry but still charged us for a pop.

Nice place, but could be better.
Pros:

Clean and good location. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Paper plates at breakfast and wooden cutlery that’s pretty useless. For the price of the stay, I would expect proper plates and cutlery.

Also, maybe refrain from having a staff meeting in the main seating area, away from customers ears.

Great location ,clean, super friendly staff but noisy as well
Pros:

Great location, set off the main drag so it worked great for me

Cons:

Unfortunately the hotel seems to have not thought about soundproofing when they built it.. lots of noise could be heard all night from a couple arguing to door slamming and weird white noise from somewhere below our room

Disappointed birthday boy as pool was out of service.
Pros:

Our room was clean and a nice size for a family of five. The staff were incredible and the breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

The pool and hot tub were out of service which was the reason we booked this hotel. The third party booking service didn’t have it on their website and even that day promoted the pool on site without notice the pool was out of service.

Pull out couch was the most uncomfortable bed.

AMAZING - but could have been more amazing with the pool!
Pros:

I loved my stay here. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beds were comfortable. The staff were accommodating and pleasant to deal with. The breakfasts in the mornings were great and the coffee 24/7 was AMAZING!!!!

Cons:

I was disappointed that the pool facilities were under construction while there. It would have been good to know prior to booking HOWEVER the hotel was very apologetic and given the chance, we would stay here again, ABSOLUTELY!

Cons:

I travel frequently to Barrie and have stayed at this hotel before with no complaints. This time was different. Front desk staff confused by housekeeping. Housekeeping knocked on our door even though we had the DND sign out and told us we were supposed to be checking out, but we had 3 more nights there. Then we asked for a room clean and front desk staff said they would but then didn't saying they couldn't get around to it because they were busy, then they called us and said they didn't do it because we had a DND sign out, when we didn't at that point. They were rude about this when we tried to explain. Then the following morning housekeeping tried to come in at 9:30am when we were sleeping and we have no idea why. Breakfast was cold. Hair in shower not ours. Magnet not working on shower curtain so water goes everywhere so we had to put our towels there the whole time to sop it up. Sheets don't fit on mattresses. Pool under maintenance, not told at time of booking. Staff just said "sorry for your situation".

Pros:

Not really worth it for what they charge.
Were interrupted by housekeeping our first morning (had DND sign on door) and told we were checking out, when in reality we were staying 3 more nights.
Asked for a room clean and it did not happen, front desk said it was a Sunday so they were busy doing rooms that had checked out, then staff said we had DND sign on door, which was not true,
Then housekeeping tried to come in at 9:30 am the next morning when we were sleeping. I have no idea why they came to our door.
Breakfast was cold
Pool under maintenance but were not told prior to booking
Hair in shower, not ours
Magnet not working on shower curtain so water goes everywhere, we had to have a build up of towels on floor in front of shower.
When we did voice our concerns front desk staff were quite rude.

Does the trick if your doing a quick over night stay. Would not reccomend if you’re going for fun or comfort.
Pros:

Basically the only thing I likes about this property was the coffee in the lobby.

Cons:

First off the guy at the front desk was kind of rude.
Our room stunk of must or something, grossed me out.
Cracks and aged bathroom for sure needs some work.
We asked for an extra blanket and pillows for our kids and it took 2 texts, a phone call and 45 minute wait to get them.
Slept like crap (so did other guests that we ran into in the halls).
Breakfast was GROSS and I felt sick after.

It was a very pleasant experience.
Pros:

It was very clean and the staff was very nice.

Cons:

Some guests were very loud at night. Some people also left garbage by the pool, broken googles and coffee cups.
