Wonderful time at LaSesta.
Pros:

I like that. The 2 rooms for 2 couples was very private being on separate floors.
Love the Rum-Runner for taking a ride to the other resorts.
Also, really appreciate the taxi service to local store

Cons:

Did not like the music selections at the pool.
We did enjoy the music selections. At the 3 waters.pool.
The televisions were a little bit difficult and did not all have the same channels.

Amazing Experience
Pros:

My wife and I recently stayed at La Siesta for our honeymoon and our stay was nothing short of amazing. Between all 3 resorts, there’s truly endless possibilities. The entire service staff is second to none, from the restaurants to the amenities to the room service. The food was delicious at literally every location. The beaches at Three Waters were a perfect place to cool off and the activities were engaging and fun. A super underrated service was the shuttle and water taxi (must try at least once) from resort to resort. Cannot recommend this place enough if you’re in the Keys!!

We had an amazing stay at La Siesta Resort and Villas. The staff were very friendly, especially Marilynn at the front desk. She made sure we had everything we needed and our vacation was perfect. The resort is beautiful and clean.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! $500+/night and it’s the worst place I’ve stayed in! Upon checking in the electrical outlet in my bathroom did not work. I told the front desk while I was out for dinner, got back from dinner still not working and no message. I tried calling the front desk five times with no answer.
In addition, I do not have hot water and the sink is backing up while I wait for hot water to come. The tv isn’t working. The bathroom cabinet is missing handles, the room is outdated,. I would not recommend staying here.

Unacceptable Room Condition at La Siesta Resort & Villas, Islamorada
Pros:

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding our recent stay at La Siesta Resort & Villas in Islamorada, which is advertised as a four-star hotel ! We paid approximately $1,073 per night, expecting a level of quality, cleanliness, and maintenance consistent with a four-star property in the United States. Unfortunately, the actual condition of the room fell significantly below those standards.
Based on the attached photos, we observed multiple issues, including:
• Severely scratched and visibly damaged flooring throughout the room
• Damaged and worn furniture, including a dining table with chipped edges and visible stains
• Poorly maintained bathroom, including deteriorated wall finishes and visible surface damage
• Bathtub in unacceptable condition, with discoloration and signs of poor maintenance
• Mirror deterioration and damage, indicating long-term wear without repair
• Damaged cabinetry and kitchen area, including chipped surfaces and worn finishes, without cutlery, plates or dishwasher!
• Overall appearance suggesting lack of proper upkeep, renovation, and quality control
These conditions are not consistent with the expectations of a four-star hotel, especially at the premium nightly rate charged. The room appeared worn, neglected, and far below the standards presented in your promotional materials.

Sadly disappointed
Pros:

We came here last year and had the best experience, but this year was a totally different story. Let me start with the good. The front desk, tiki bar and activities staff were all friendly and helpful. Now on to the not good stuff. We elected for cleaning service each of the 3 days and confirmed this upon check in. Day 1 we had to call and remind them because they didn't come. Day 2 didn't come at all. Day 3 was the only day they came without prompting. Cleaning staff didn't sweep the floors or restock the supplies for the coffee maker. We still had to go to the front desk to get that stuff. Last year we were in an oceanfront room and loved it this year we upgraded to a private villa. Sadly, disappointed a Motel 6 would have been nicer. Paint on the hand bars in the bathroom the shower caulking looked like a child did it. Some makeshift covering over the sink pipes and we had a square toilet with a round toilet seat. Then to top it off Friday afternoon the families with kids started rolling in. There had to be 50 tween girls who all they did was scream. No parental supervision at all. They broke the hammock outside of our room then after 8 pm they were knocking on room doors and running. We had planned on making this a yearly trip but after this we will be looking at other accommodations for next year.

Die Unterkunft hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht mit einem großen Strand Abschnitt mit vielen liegemöglichkeiten und Schattenplätzen man kann sich sogar umsonst Kajaks ausleihen, um zu den Mänätis oder Schildkröten zu paddeln. Der Pool hat unseren Kindern sehr gefallen. In der Unterkunft selbst waren die Betten bequem.

Cons:

Ich würde sagen, außen Hui innen Pfui. Man sieht, dass die Anlage sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist abgenutzte Möbel/Badewanne. Wir haben extra eine Unterkunft mit Küchenzeile gebucht. Geschirr war keins vorhanden für 1600 € Für fünf Tage hätte ich in dem Preis mehr erwartet. An der Poolbar gibt es keine richtigen Alkohol, sondern nur einen kleinen Kokoslikör, mit dem sie alle Cocktails mischen. Die Preise sind unterirdisch dafür ein Eis, was im Supermarkt fünf Dollar kostet kostet in dieser Anlage 15 $. Wir haben also für vier Eis 60 $ bezahlt das muss man sich mal auf der Zunge zergehen lassen.
