Our stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Lake Buena Vista was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the level of service stood out—staff were welcoming, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Although our room was not ready at check-in, which was initially disappointing, the team handled the situation professionally and more than made up for it with their care and responsiveness.
The suite itself was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The beds were extremely comfortable, and having a full kitchen with a sink and refrigerator added great convenience. The bathroom was also notably large and well-maintained, making the overall stay even more comfortable.
While I wouldn’t categorize this as a luxury hotel, it absolutely delivers a high level of comfort and service that makes you feel very well taken care of. Everything worked seamlessly throughout our stay.
The location is another strong advantage—situated in a quiet, residential-feeling area that felt safe, yet still very close to major attractions, theme parks, and outlet shopping. It was ideal for our trip, as we were primarily looking for a comfortable place to rest and recharge during our vacation in Orlando.
Breakfast was solid and offered a good variety, including coffee, juice, pancakes, bagels, yogurt, eggs, sausage, and waffles. The breakfast area was well organized and enjoyable. Parking is available for a fee, and we did not observe any concerns regarding safety in the area.
Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Orlando.
I also appreciate the front desk gentleman for giving us few extra minutes to check out as half of my family were taking some time shopping and they forgot the checkout was at 11;00 AM.
I stayed at the Homewood Suites Lake Buena Vista for three weeks, and I strongly advise other travelers to book elsewhere. While the room itself was a good size, the terrible service and completely unacceptable management practices overshadowed the entire stay.
The Daily Service Issues:
Housekeeping: Housekeeping never once replenished our towels. For 21 days straight, we had to go out of our way to beg the staff for basic bathroom towels.
Breakfast: Extremely basic, uninspired, and highly disappointing for an extended-stay property.
Front Desk: The staff were consistently unhelpful and dismissive of basic guest needs throughout the entire three weeks.
The Parking Trap & Management Runaround:
The absolute worst part of this experience, however, was the parking. The hotel charges an extortionate $25 per day for parking, which I paid directly to the hotel reception. Despite this, I was issued a parking ticket by their parking management company, which subsequently triggered extra penalty fees from my car rental company.
When I brought this up to the hotel, they washed their hands of it and told me it had "nothing to do with them." It was only after I escalated the issue to the Hilton corporate complaints team that the Assistant General Manager, Karina, finally stepped in and promised to resolve it.
I have now been liaising with Karina for six months. After stringing me along for half a year, she has now decided the issue is "too difficult" to resolve and has reverted to the original excuse: claiming it has nothing to do with the hotel.
Let me be clear: I paid the hotel directly for parking, they allowed me to be fined in their own lot, and they refuse to take responsibility or make it right.
Save yourself the stress, the unexpected fines, and the exhausting customer service battle. Do not stay at this hotel.

Pretty clean and updated. Spacious with a cute pool. Very close to popular areas. Restaurant has a good bar and a good food menu.
Paid parking was $27 per night. I could have used that towards a better hotel with no paid parking. Breakfast was not good, bathtub was giving extended stay.
I liked the location, hotel was clean, breakfast was great, close to lots of restaurants.
Broken tiles in the bathroom. Pool water was freezing cold (very hard to enjoy).
Everything seems new, very nice room and confortable bed.

First when we got here at midnight after hours on the road we had to spend 25 minutes downloading an app and trying to pay for parking. Once we kept getting errors we went back to the front desk and they also couldn’t get it figured out so they said don’t worry and they would take care of it. When we finally got to the room to take a shower the towels that were left were literally still wet. The next morning I asked for new towels and they never came. When we went to the front dest after coming back from our day out and asked for towels AGAIN, they said they had none. The room is mid, the service is terrible. The parking and payment is ridiculous. And apparently, you need to bring your own towels.
