Good, efficient check in, and a really clean comfortable room. The King room had a a good closet with a drawer to pull out the coffee machine, which had a small fridge under. The TV was good. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels.
I used the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, and both were good : the breakfast menu was good and the apple pie at dinner especially great! You can also order from your room, I think.
Location: south of Winnipeg, not far from the Peripherique/Orbital highway, so it's easy to get to TCH/Route 1 east or west, and to destinations such as Steinbach Mennonite Village, the Canadian Mint, Fort Whyte Alive and it's about 25 minutes into downtown/The Forks/Human Rights Museum.
For some reason i got an accessible room, and I found the force of the shower a bit strong and there didn't seem like anyway to control this, and you had to be sure to watch the shower curtain or else end up with a soaking bathroom floor.
Also, the bed side lights were impossible to reach to turn off from the bed.
Availability of restaurant in hotel.
So close to the south end. I’m from fargo
I stayed at the hotel for two nights while some work was going on in my building. The property is well-maintained, close to a number of restaurants and businesses. My room was clean, modern and the wi-fi enabled music and movie streaming without issue. For the duration of my stay, floor on which the room was located was quiet. The air conditioning functioned well, even on two very hot, humid days. I took several meals at the restaurant in the hotel. The food pleased me and the service was courteous and attentive. Front desk staff greeted me and were able to assist me when needed.
Good location for university of manitoba with great public transport links. Staff were very helpful
The room was a little dark and there were some odd smells in the hallway.
Great location , close to highway for easy access. Wonderful staff. Room was great 👍
The room was great. Beds were comfortable. Nice bathroom. Room was quiet.
The main reason we picked this hotel was for the hot tub. THE HOT TUB DID NOT WORK! Just hot water but no jets. We were so disappointed. Multiple people tried to get it to work but it was just a hot bath.
The onsite restaurant was a bonus, food was delicious. We ended up staying an extra night as we got stuck with freezing rain. Bed was comfortable.
It was noisy, night front desk staff was great when we called as was past midnight and there was a group that was very loud. Then next day we requested to move to another floor as the group continued being loud.
Pool and hot tub
The hotel was advertised as breakfast included, which was one of the reasons I picked it. When we got there, breakfast was only provided to one person out of 4. The staff advised that it's booking.com misinforming people on their site. The breakfast wasn't buffet, and not for all, I had to buy breakfast for my children, where I could have chosen another hotel that truly includes breakfast for all occupants. Very disappointing.
We enjoyed the pool. The room was very comfortable.
There wasn’t a very good place to walk my dog. Which is important…
Booked a king room. Went up to room, it was two queens. Went back down to desk and was told there r no king beds in the hotel. Went to go to hot tub at 1030pm. Doors were locked and my key card was not able to unlock the door. Had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come up to unlock the door and was told it closes in 18 minutes.
