Pros:

Otele kendi aracımızla gittik. Otelin yan sokağında araç park yeri var. otel gayet temiz, sabah kahvaltısı açık büfe. çok merkezi bir konumda. çalışanlar saygılı temizlik konusunda da her gün odamızı toplandı.

Amazing stay and welcoming hosts
Pros:

we spent 6 nights at Cappadocia Palace Hotel in Urgup. This cozy and charming hotel offers an incredible service to its guests and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful that they make you feel at home and part of their families. we booked all our guided tours and activities with them directly over there and everything was so well coordinated by them, at fair prices. A special thank you to Bekir, one of our hosts who took his own time to introduce us to Turkish culture, which is amazing!! our room was nice and very clean and the hotel is in the best location in the city, walking distance from most restaurants. We would definitely choose this hotel again for our next stay in Cappadocia.

Conveniently located, comfortable
Pros:

The room was clean and quiet. TV reception was not good. The hotel is perfectly located in town. The reception area and breakfast/break area are large and visitors can meet after their tours and exchange stories.

Excellent conditions for this price
Pros:

A nice hotel offering clean rooms. The regular rooms are small and, therefore, they are not furnished with wardrobes... Bathroom is relatively small; shower cabin is narrower than your home cabin. However, if you need a special room for your honeymoon, make sure to book a higher class room, there are just four of them.

Overall, the hotel is very romantic. Room walls are made of stone blocks, not painted. High wooden ceilings and wooden floors.

Wonderful stay, but a few reasons holding it back.
Pros:

A really historic place -- a renovated Greek Orthodox church and grounds converted into a hotel. While I would love to go back there, I hope they fix the Wi-Fi so it works in the rooms not just the lobby. I also hope that they are able to keep the smokers on one end of the hotel and not mixed with the nonsmoking rooms--the smoke easily drafts from room to room.

Unique experience
Pros:

The inside of this old monastery had a unique quality of old Turkey, and cave dwelling. The breakfast room was like eating in a church. The employees were very friendly, helpful and kind. The hotel is walking distance to town. The area around the hotel looked like a construction site however, so not very inviting. Also, no elevator or handrails, so not appropriate for travellers with children, handicapped, or otherwise unable to climb steep stairs.

Great service at this hotel
Pros:

The hotel arranged for my shuttle to and from the Kayseri airport and booked my tours. They were helpful in pointing me in the right direction for the bus station, post office and other places. The real charm for this hotel is the people. They were awesome. The value for the price was great!

Their Standard Rooms are not nice!
Pros:

When we booked this hotel, the only photos of the rooms available were those of the deluxe rooms - which we only found out when we checked in. Through some mistake of their own, we were upgraded for the first night to a deluxe room, and then transferred to a standard room the next day. The difference is vast. On hindsight I wouldn't have booked a standard room at Cappadocia Palace and am not sure I would have paid twice as much for the deluxe either - there are many nicer hotels in the area with rooms at that price.

The location for Cappadocia Palace Hotel is very good though, the staff are friendly, the dining room has a lot of character, but a "cave hotel", it certainly isn't.

Reasonable hotel in Urgup
Pros:

Most of the hotels in Urgup are up a steep hill away from the main part of town. This hotel is in the center of town, conveniently located but not noisy. It is not as upscale as the ones on the hill but it is clean and the staff is friendly. Urgup is a town in Cappadocia that is not just for tourists and staying at the Cappadocia Palace Hotel gave us a sense of the "real" town. The price was definitely right.

Cappadocia Palace- USE AN AIRPORT SHUTTLE!!!
Pros:

Cappadocia Palace was a nice place to stay. A 25-30 TL cab ride to any of the amazing treks in the area. Much better than a 200 Euro guided tour. YOU DONT NEED A GUIDE in this area to safely trek the valleys. Our hotel manager was saying we needed a guide and its not the case if you are even remotely competent at following a map(which you can get at the local sports store in Gurip). Nice breakfast and a rustic feel. Only complaint about our room was that the stucko material would fall off the ceiling in the cave room bathroom. But really not a big deal. Enjoy the food, wine and trekking in Cappadocia!

Friendly staff, great place
Pros:

We stayed in Cappadocia Palace in June 2011, our trip was for 3 days and 2 nights. This hotel and its staff are the best ever!! Yusuf, Bekir and Mustafa were always helpfull with great smile on their face. Great open buffet breakfast, tea and coffee treat anytime we walked in, great tips about surronding area (where to eat, what to do....). We really enjoyed our time there and would go again...

A very enjoyable experience!
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cappadocia Palace Hotel! It is located so close to the center of town that we could walk everywhere in Urgup. It was nice to be able to leave our car at the hotel and walk to dinner, to shops, etc. And we could easily drive to all the other sites in Cappadocia. The hotel was clean, the room spacious enough, the staff very helpful. We're glad we chose this hotel.

good location, helpful staff
Pros:

The hotel manager provided very good services, such in helping us to arrange local tours, to sugguest a good and reasonable price restaurant and nearby places to visit.

If more spaces for hanging my necessities in the bathroom, the hotel would be perfect.

Over the 19 days' vacation in Turkey, I find the room rate of this hotel is the cheapest but the service is the best.!

Pros:

Breadfast is good in comparison with other Turkey hotels.

however, the bathroom is not big enough. not enough space to hang up our necessities and move around in the narrow shower compartment.

A decent 2.5 star hotel
Pros:

Friendly staff and cenvenient location. The bathroom was tired because not all the rooms are renewed yet, prefer ottoman room. Cave rooms are also nice, good choice for the couples.
