The staff were excellent and arranged a trip for us out of the city that worked very well. Evening meals were interesting and well prepared, al;though we chose to eat out on some occasions to get a different view of the locality. The location was superb, right in the middle of the Medina and at the heart of evening activity.
The breakfast that was included with the booking was a set meal of yogurt and nuts, an omelette or pancakes and bread with halva and jam. We would have liked some fruit and a degree of choice, which was available on the menu, but when we tried to find out about options I had difficulty in getting over what I wanted. Our first room, while very attractive, was not very convenient for older travelers, since the bed had to be accessed by stone steps, but the staff were very helpful in arranging a chance to a more appropriate room.

You can experience some of the most traditional Tunisien style architecture here. Staffs are very friendly and helpful (they helped us change the room, cause the other room were a bit noisy at night). Breakfast is very very very hearty.
The bed is a bit uncomfortable. Bathroom has mould, as there's no window inside bathroom. Some rooms faced directly to the patio and could be noisy until midnight.
Location of this boutique hotel was excellent, basically in the heart of Medina. Staff was very helpful and friendly, booked us also a taxi transfer for the airport . The highlight of this hotel is definitely its cuisine. Breakfast is excellent and we also stayed for the dinner. Rooftop area is also very nice, and another highlight of this hotel. Definitely a very good option to stay while visiting Tunis. Room was simple, but we were grateful for an additional electrical heating (winter time).
This is most probably beyond possibilities of this hotel, but tap water was sometimes dirty, I´d say: African standard.

The building is old some places need attention
Looks beautiful and authentic, has very nice people working there and is located in a great spot near all the souks and stuff. Restaurant on site great, they serve a grand breakfast.
My room was beautiful and cosy, though I didn’t really admire the fact that there was a smoking area right in front of the room. Smell came in very strongly. Not too bad of an issue though, if you don’t mind it. Also I visited in winter, and the room was quite cold. Heater did help a bit and the extra blanket too.
Bellissima struttura, dí grande charme
La struttura si trova nella vecchia medina di Tunisi ed è molto caratteristica. Il personale è affabile. Ciò che mi ha colpito è stata la cura dei particolari: inspiegabile...provare per credere.

La habitacion no era muy comoda, con varios niveles y sin closet. Un poco rara. Era la habitacion "Jasmine"
