The room furnishings and fixtures were very updated, stylish, and comfortable. Everything was thought of. There was a basket of pool towels and extra bath towels. The beds were comfortable. The pool area was very nice and the view amazing. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again. The room was immaculate.
The hallways could use some paint, but it is a challenge with the salt water to keep up with maintenance. The room had a very strong smell of cleaning disinfectant which was too much for me. Perhaps better rinsing. When I mentioned it to the staff, they gave me another room that had less chemical small and more of a light bleach smell which was tolerable. But they were very accommodating.
Location to the beach. Location to food and gas stations. Just over all Location.
I cant think of anything
Location
Bit dated but clean rooms
Location and value
Nothing it was worth it
It was my 9th visit. The weather was chilly, so the hot tub was appreciated.
Checking in was easy, room had a heavily rusted showerhead so they let us go to another. The moment I laid in the bed to unwind, a roach came crawling across the bed. We brought it up to the front desk. They advised the place had been cleaned and suggested a previous person may have brought more bugs. We were not refunded or discounted for that night. The next night the manager told staff we could upgrade our stay at a 40% discount rate for the 2nd night. I chose the 2nd floor because maybe they didn’t infest that high up, but I was wrong. When we returned to the room that night I was laying down and felt something crawl on my arm. I smacked it and jumped straight up (took the attached photo). Brought it to the office’s attention immediately where nothing was done about the situation other than some new pillowcases for the night. Hot tub was nice tho
Nothing!!!
Everything, especially the office clerk.
Great value right on the beach amenities were boutique Art Deco
Location
Upon checking in there was no one at the front desk for 10 to 15 minutes. After getting our first room we had roaches, see attached pictures. We are Florida residents, believe me when I tell you these are not the normal Palmetto or Asian roaches. We received a second room, same issue and mold. In addition, we had a quarter inch gap underneath the door. We went to the front desk and requested a cancellation through booking.com. We were told we received a full refund And that it was taken care of with booking.com. they did not communicate with booking.com. They refunded most of the money and kept $40 for a cleaning fee. We never stayed at their hotel. we booked a different room at a different hotel. Please look elsewhere
Location was good with access to main road. Lots of restaurants.
It was old and felt like old. Maintenance was lacks. The parking lot was usually full and I don't think the top floor of rooms were used.
Great location, nice pool deck with good-size pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit. Very nice atmosphere in that regard. Beds were comfy. Room service was on top of things, which is a rarity nowadays. Good ice machine.
Could use some attention to facilities (i.e. many pool lounge chairs were broken, floors in room felt sandy/dirty on arrival, some rooms had dehumidifiers and others didn't, the lighting was a little dismal).
Hot tub looking out onto the ocean, fire pit, coffee machine (great assortment of hot drinks), pet friendly, direct beach access, clean facilities, good location, free parking.
Pool (clean but did not seem heated as advertised), ice machine was out of service all 3 nights we stayed there, beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, shower door didn’t seal causing a wet floor after showers, would have liked to see a few more breakfast items, water spray when coming up from the beach showered my husband 1st time as we thought it was a foot spray, not a full shower.
Good accommodating staff. Great fascilities
The room had intense smell of bleach which affected my breathing it was incredibly strong. Hand basin wasn’t the cleanest.
I like the location. The fact that you can bring your dog and take him on the beach right there although it is an extra $25 each night. That there was a mini fridge. and a small coffee pot.
We will likely look at other options next year.
The rooms could definitely use a refresh. The salt water/air erodes metal on lamps. The ironing board was gross. The closet door was missing. The fridge did not have a door on the freezer section so there was water. The ice machine in hall was broken. The bench had rips in it the desk chair was shedding faux leather, the base of the bed was beat up and the bed was not the greatest either. The fabric headboard, also not ideal for germaphobes. The sliding glass door was super heavy/hard to slide. The curtain was ripped.
By far the best part of the stay was the staff. Very helpful and open to fix things as soon as they could with what they had. Quick and easy check in and out process. The room was spacious enough and the location was good.
The major dealbreaker was the lack of cleanliness. Upon arriving the lobby was musty and had a bad smell of backed up drain and cleaner. The room should have been ready at 3 according to policy; we arrived around 7 and they warned us they just mopped the floor which left a strong chemical smell in the room. The lamp by the night table had mildew all over the screen which added to flare up my allergies. The TV remote also didn’t work properly and the staff did all they could to help with all the problems. It was hard to sleep since they start working loudly around 6 or 7 in the morning at least in the first floor where we were staying.
