Great location just far enough from downtown to be out of the crazy amount of people great beach access

Location was good and pool was nice. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Room could have been cleaned better. Breakfast was not good. Worst thing is not nearly enough parking spaces for the amount of rooms. Would not stay again due to parking issues.

The staff was very friendly, especially Winsome. The hotel isn't too big so you're not forced to have to walk around a huge location just to get to where you want to go.

There are only a few parking spots so parking became difficult to find later in the evening.

Cons:

Unlisted pet fee is outrageous $50 PER NIGHT ! Which is basically a 50% surcharge on room cost ! Equal to $15,000 per year ! For a dog w no money ! Amazing audacious act of robbery, won’t go back. Also: Wi-Fi is terrible, not reliable enough to work on-line. Room was dark and depressing w little natural light because window faces blank wall in interior hallway BUT sold as partial view of beach/pool which means open the curtains so pedestrians can look in then stand in far front corner of room or open door and stick head out. Also odd quirks like Closed hot-tub, pool full of sand and ice machine leaking water constantly onto hall floor at base of stairs. Give it a pass.

Terrible experience
Pros:

This used to be an excellent hotel but it has huge problems now. Hot tub has not been available for weeks now. Toilets backed up in 3 of our 5 rooms, water leaks are everywhere. The owners do not care at all. It’s obvious that they are not putting money back into their property. The elevator was out too. The staff members are wonderful. Terrible breakfast, spoiled bananas, no eggs, no toast. Coffee sucks. Believe me, I usually do not complain. The beach front if beautiful and after they cleaned the pool, it was pretty nice. We came to enjoy the hot tub but on arrival they told us it was not working. We talked to people hanging out at the pool. Everyone is pretty pissed. The owners have unlisted numbers so no way to talk to them. They would not even give us any money back. Avoid this property at all costs.

Overnight beach trip
Pros:

As a retired meeting planner booking four and five star resorts and hotels, I give a 2 star, 7.0: Cons - this hotel was just adequate for a sleepover. Small room, HVAC heat setting did not work on a cool night - front desk told me the next morning some do not work, but they did not tell me that unit did not work when I checked in, very sparse cold breakfast very few oceanfront rooms even though website picture shows
otherwise. Pros: very clean, friendly staff, low room rate.
