If someone asked if I would recommend the Canad Inn Garden City, I would suggest that the rooms be viewed in person befo

It was close to where I needed to be.

Cons:

I was offered an “upgrade” to a suite for 2 of the 3 nights we were booked. The “suite” (a two bedroom room) was very basic, needed a deep clean and an update. It was drafty and the bathroom looked like a gas station bathroom. The third night we moved up to the 3rd floor which was clean, recently reno’d and well appointed - a much nicer room. I just wish that I had not been convinced by the staff to “upgrade” for the first two nights.

That was a flicking light in the washroom and the bath tube (shower) wasn’t level done how do when you turn on the tap to take a shower the water splashing the wall will be on the floor outside of the shower! So I almost fell! I try to prevent this happening by blocking with towel or the courting but water wouldn’t stop getting into the floor!
That’s a BIG SAFETY ISSUE!
I wanna be compensated for that! Shower and flicking light!
Sad because the room was beautiful
Not being negative it’s fair to say that the counter girl could be more positive! Courtesy is part of this industry and she wasn’t!
