Tolle Lage aber sonst sehr enttäuschend

Die Lage am Fluss und der Blick auf das neue Theatre Royale ist fantastisch. Das Abendessen war gut und der Kellner sehr nett. Die Hotellobby wurde gerade renoviert und machte beim Check in einen guten Eindruck.Als wir uns wegen vielen Mängeln beim Hoteldirektor beschwerten, war dieser sehr freundlich und verständnisvoll und erzählte, dass die Hotelzimmer bald renoviert werden.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt neben eines Disco, die extrem laut ist. Bis 2 Uhr früh konnten wir demnach nicht schlafen. Zudem sind die Zimmer sehr schmutzig. Der Teppich ( auch im Flur) hat viele Flecken, das Bad hat verdreckte Fugen und die Armaturen sind schlecht geputzt. Das Telefon am Bett total verdreckt. Alle Türrahmen sind abgeschlagen. Das Personal am Frühstück war sehr unaufmerksam und unfreundlich. Unser Tisch wurde erst nach Aufforderung gedeckt und das sehr lieblos. Wir würden nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Quiet hotel and friendly staff. We were well looked after by the server Mohammed B. at the restaurant- he was proactive and efficient. Food was great.

Cons:

Slow staff inside the restaurant. You have to literally ask them to give you what you need. The ladies there need a good hospitality training as they are not really bothered to serve you.

Dawlitz; A wonderful place to stay in Rabat
Pros:

My friend and I came to the Dawlitz Hotel in Rabat a few days prior to our tour. The property is beautiful, and well maintained . The staff was incredibly helpful- with questions, directions, ideas of places to visit, an ATM issue, a sewing kit- they were always accommodating. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and if I return to Morocco I will definitely stay here again. If you visit Rabat you should stay at the Dawlitz.
