Ideal central base with rooftop pool
Pros:

Clean cool modern rooms in the modern part of this extension to an old mansion. Note that though this is high season the hotel restaurant is closed on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, but because the hotel is situated in the very centre of the city there are a multitude of other restaurants within a short walking distance. Staff very obliging and let us check out slightly later than the official 12.00

Minha estadia no Design Suites Salta foi excelente. Os quartos são extremamente confortáveis e muito amplos, proporcionando uma sensação real de espaço e bem-estar. A cama é maravilhosa, muito confortável, garantindo noites de sono perfeitas.

O banheiro merece destaque à parte: simplesmente espetacular, moderno, espaçoso e muito bem planejado, trazendo uma experiência de hotel de alto padrão.

O ambiente do hotel é tranquilo e agradável, ideal para descansar após os passeios pela cidade. A arquitetura é um charme, combinando elementos modernos com detalhes clássicos, criando uma atmosfera sofisticada e acolhedora ao mesmo tempo.

Sem dúvidas, uma ótima escolha em Salta. Recomendo!

An odd building complex in a very good spot
Pros:

This hotel is in a nice square with some big threes, just two blocks from the main square in the city. That is a perfect spot. The building is part of an old very nice building that has been extended with a rather tall very modern glass covered building. We were lucking to be upgraded and got one of the handful rooms in the old part. So, our room was very beautiful and large with a couple of balconies. The bed was the highest I have seen. The only odd thing was that the nice wooden floor had been hurt by water and not fixed afterwards. So, it was far from being a flat surface. Another thing was the rather limited storage capacity in form of a cupboard on wheels(!?).
The breakfast room was also in the nice old part of the hotel and of decant standard. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

La atencion del personal es excelente. Esta bien ubicado.

Cons:

En la habitacion no hay escritorio y el unico lugar para trabajar es el bar del hotel.

Very fast and efficient check in and out.
The air conditioning stopped working and immediately was fixed 😀
Big and spacious rooms, comfortable mattress and pillows.
Sleep very well 👍
A relax atmosphere helped feeling better.
Good value for money. Breakfast was ok.

Good hotel
Pros:

Stayed 2 nights whilst on a tour. Well situated for shops and some sights, the room was large, nicely decorated with bath/shower, safe, bottled water provided in room and wifi. Our room on the 6th floor, overlooked the street and there was a small amount of noise in the night, but nothing that disturbed our sleep.

Reception is large with comfortable seating and English speaking staff, who were helpful and polite.

Breakfast was upstairs in the restaurant, buffet style - good selection.

We didn't have time to try the pool etc, due to flight delays getting there, which was a pity.
