Haha long been a favourite, but due to very poor bathroom and breakfast will be our last stay.
Pros:

The staff were amazing, very helpful.
The location is excellent, the main reason for booking. The hotel is elegant but needs updating on facilities.

Cons:

Bathrooms. Shower over bath has a fixed glass screen and made it impossible to get in the bath to use the shower..

Breakfast was poor. No fresh juice. Fruit was unripe and inedible. Hot options were unappetising. Fresh cold meats and cheeses would have been nice.

Excellent location, wonderful and accommodating staff

Cons:

Horrible experience with the rooftop terrace with the man who appeared to be the manager, who accused me in front of my family of lying to the reception to get a table and of cheating 'him' out of several hundred euros of business. I've never encountered such unprofessional behaviour.

Dipende molto dalle priorità che uno ha a cuore.
Pros:

Pregievole edificio di architettura veneziana. Collocazione ideale, sia per la visita della città che per le escursioni nell'isola. Molto bella la terrazza panoramica sul tetto, con vista sul mare e sul forte della città (aperta purtroppo solo la sera per la cena). Gentilezza di tutto lo staff.

Cons:

Gli interni sono tutti da rifare. Le finiture, ad occhio, risalgono agli anni '70/80. Bagno da due stelle massimo (piastrelle rotte, malte scrostate, sanitari talmente vecchi che oltre un certo grado non si possono pulire). Sala per colazione eccessivamente sacrificata, con tavoli troppo vicini (potrebbe essere ampilata, accorpando una saletta attigua con pianoforte del tutto inutilizzata, rivedendo completamente le finiture - controsoffitto e pareti "stile" metà anni '80 che fanno a pugni con la bellezza dell'edificio storico). Colazione molto basica e ripetitiva, inoltre di scarsa qualità. Stanza tripla molto sacrificata nelle dimensioni, con aggiunta di una brandina mobile. Detto questo, i punti positivi, per le nostre priorità, hanno controbilanciato quelli negativi. Ovviamente il prezzo (200 euro a notte in b&b) è davvero eccessivo (questo hotel non può essere assimilato a un 4 stelle standard, al massimo a un 3 stelle molto scarso).

Nice location but pretty tired. Go somewhere else for breakfast

Cons:

Breakfast was dismal - circa 1970s. Tinned fruit and sorry looking eggs/meats. Not good enough for a 4*.
Rooms are fine but pretty spartan. No double beds - just singles pushed together. Air con is weak
Parking is a nightmare - prepare to queue for an hour to get a space.
