Waldorf Astoria Chicago

My husband and I have stayed at WA Chicago a handful of times and every experience is exceptional! We believe that is due to the team - from Logan and Sheryl, our concierges, to DeAndre, Nate, and Mia at the front desk, to Israel from room service, Bailey in housekeeping, and many more! They all work tirelessly to create a relaxing environment where you don't have to worry about a thing except having a wonderful time. This last visit was for work, but happened to coincide with my birthday, everyone went above and beyond to ensure I felt special and celebrated. From a fabulous room upgrade to the most stunning bouquet of flowers to a boat tour and delightful bottle of wine - everything was sheer enchantment. If you are a Diamond rewards member do not miss out on taking advantage of every opportunity provided to you during your stay to really get the most out of it!

We had a fantastic stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago recently. We booked two standard rooms, one through Hilton and one through Fine Hotels and Resorts. In advance of our stay, both the general manager and the staff were kind and responsive to our questions, and they even provided an extremely generous complimentary upgrade on both of our rooms to large, connecting suites. The extra space made all the difference for our family, and each suite had a fireplace (perfect on a cool night!) and a balcony with beautiful views. The hotel also arranged for complimentary welcome fruit, snacks, and beverages to be delivered for us-- a big hit with the kids! The pool was great and had floats, pool noodles, etc. available for the kids. The gym was fantastic, the spa was beautiful, and breakfast at the Brass Tack restaurant was excellent. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. We only stayed 1 night, but it was a wonderful mini-vacation for our family of five.

Recently, my wife and I wanted to get out of town so we jumped on Amtrak from West Palm Beach to Chicago , one of my favorite cities.

(Amtrak was terrible, even with a full bedroom) Due to a recent fall and concussion, I was restricted from flying.

We have stayed at the Waldorf several times and this stay reinforced why we come back whenever in Chicago,

The service is impeccable. Such a great staff from housekeeping to the front desk, bellmen and restaurant servers.

I used points and cash for a one bedroom terrace suite. The in-room fireplace made it extra special for a pair of Floridians!

Great dining experiences and they know how to take care of Diamond members with a $25 per person food and beverage credit daily.

Excellent location, a wonderful courtesy car service for trips under a mile and a helpful concierge.

The Waldorf also delivers an indoor lap pool, workout center and spa services.

Our favorite hotel in Chicago remains number 1!

The stay was amazing per usual! Me and my fiance love coming here! Rooms are amazing and the service is top notch! Luis is always amazingly kind, and always eager to serve, he took us and waited for us when we needed to step into jewel for a second! They truly look to meet all your needs when staying! Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying

A superb experience with everyone the Waldorf Astoria Chicago. I'd like to give a particular shout out to Logan Lawson-Parks and the concierge team who made our visit so special. They were able to accommodate some unique requests and found some great neighborhood restaurant gems (that weren't on my radar). I look forward to returning!

From the moment I walked into the Waldorf Astoria Chicago at 6:30 AM, well before standard check-in, I experienced a level of service that truly defines luxury hospitality.

I arrived without a reservation, expecting to simply store my luggage and return later. Instead, DeAndre at the front desk immediately took ownership of my experience with genuine warmth and care. He intuitively asked about my Hilton Honors status, helped me locate my account and log in, and navigated everything with a level of efficiency and insight that made the process seamless.

Although the Deluxe King with fireplace I initially wanted wasn’t available, DeAndre found a thoughtful solution that exceeded my expectations. He also accommodated an early check-in nearly eight hours ahead of schedule.

What stood out most was the intention behind every interaction. DeAndre made me feel genuinely welcomed, taken care of, and valued from the very first moment. It felt less like a transaction and more like a personalized experience.

Thank you, DeAndre, for such an exceptional start to my stay. This is exactly the kind of service that defines true luxury.

Location was great, room was clean with amazing views and staff worked hard to make sure everything was just right. Luis, the valet, and De’Andre, at the front desk, were especially kind and helpful. Oh, and the lobby smelled amazing! We would definitely return.

My experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. Everything from the hospitality to the facilities was exceptional. The suite is super spacious! Excelled our previous experience with a few other 5 stars in Chicago!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel, the fact that you offer a car wash service.

There are several luxury hotels in Chicago to choose from, but the service at The Waldorf is what sets it apart. The concierge service from Logan Parks made the difference between a great stay, and an unbelievable stay. Last minute reservation changes, activity recommendations, car service, little touches for the room…. She made everything magic! My friend and I still talk about how great she was. Seriously, I’ve never had a concierge make such an impact on my stay. Though I was disappointed the hotel was being remodeled and the spa was closed, and the bar was noisy, the concierges Logan, and Sheryl pulled out every stop to make up for it. I had just hit diamond status with Hilton, and I really felt “ the love” from that. The room and location are fantastic! I used to stay elsewhere in Chicago, and now will never stay anywhere but at The Waldorf when in Chicago. Thanks Logan and Sheryl for such a lovely stay!

The team at Waldorf Astoria went above and beyond for my wife and I his anniversary. They did a fantastic job, making sure everything was perfect. I want to acknowledge logan.lawson-parks for personally taking care of my wife and I during our stay. She is amazing.

One of the very best experiences I have ever had at a hotel!

Before our arrival, Cheryl, the concierge, contacted us to let us know she was available for any requests.

At check-in, Fernando, at the front desk was friendly, helpful and very accommodating with our request for a late checkout. At the same time, I asked Cheryl for help locating a jewelry store where I could special order two watch bands I needed. By the time we had unloaded our bags in our rooms (I was traveling with a friend and we shared a 2 bedroom suite) and returned to the lobby, Cheryl had the information for me.

Jonathan, Luis and the entire valet staff were more than accommodating taking us to the places we needed to go in the hotel's beautiful BMW.

I did not speak the same language as the woman who cleaned our rooms, and I did not get her name, but through sign language, she was happy too return when the room would be vacant.
I did not write her a note, but the clues I left in the room she picked up on, and I've never had such an organized room! It was perfect and the bathroom was spotless!

Room service and the spa attendants were friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and warm, and well stocked with wonderful towels and water.

I can't wait until I'm able to return to the Waldorf Astoria Chicago.
