Location was great, room was clean with amazing views and staff worked hard to make sure everything was just right. Luis, the valet, and De’Andre, at the front desk, were especially kind and helpful. Oh, and the lobby smelled amazing! We would definitely return.

My experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. Everything from the hospitality to the facilities was exceptional. The suite is super spacious! Excelled our previous experience with a few other 5 stars in Chicago!

There are several luxury hotels in Chicago to choose from, but the service at The Waldorf is what sets it apart. The concierge service from Logan Parks made the difference between a great stay, and an unbelievable stay. Last minute reservation changes, activity recommendations, car service, little touches for the room…. She made everything magic! My friend and I still talk about how great she was. Seriously, I’ve never had a concierge make such an impact on my stay. Though I was disappointed the hotel was being remodeled and the spa was closed, and the bar was noisy, the concierges Logan, and Sheryl pulled out every stop to make up for it. I had just hit diamond status with Hilton, and I really felt “ the love” from that. The room and location are fantastic! I used to stay elsewhere in Chicago, and now will never stay anywhere but at The Waldorf when in Chicago. Thanks Logan and Sheryl for such a lovely stay!

One of the very best experiences I have ever had at a hotel!

Before our arrival, Cheryl, the concierge, contacted us to let us know she was available for any requests.

At check-in, Fernando, at the front desk was friendly, helpful and very accommodating with our request for a late checkout. At the same time, I asked Cheryl for help locating a jewelry store where I could special order two watch bands I needed. By the time we had unloaded our bags in our rooms (I was traveling with a friend and we shared a 2 bedroom suite) and returned to the lobby, Cheryl had the information for me.

Jonathan, Luis and the entire valet staff were more than accommodating taking us to the places we needed to go in the hotel's beautiful BMW.

I did not speak the same language as the woman who cleaned our rooms, and I did not get her name, but through sign language, she was happy too return when the room would be vacant.
I did not write her a note, but the clues I left in the room she picked up on, and I've never had such an organized room! It was perfect and the bathroom was spotless!

Room service and the spa attendants were friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and warm, and well stocked with wonderful towels and water.

I can't wait until I'm able to return to the Waldorf Astoria Chicago.

The Waldorf continues as my favorite hotel in Chicago. The refined, consistent service is second to none.

This was a quick getaway to the city. I was able to check in to my Junior Suite a bit early. As promised, Anthony in guest services delivered me my keys while I enjoyed lunch at Brass Tack. My interaction with Anthony was the beginning of many personable, yet professional interactions with the team at the Waldorf. From Tamas the General Manager to Santiago and James in the Brass Tack, everyone is on their A-game. James is incredibly personable and remembered me from previous visits, as did Santiago. They are both incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and truly seem to enjoy working at the Waldorf. Tamas Vago, the General Manager, is ever present around the hotels and due this I was able to tell him how much I was enjoying my time there.

When I completed lunch, Anthony had my luggage waiting in my Junior Suite and due to the semi-warm weather, I was able to open up the sliding doors to the Juliet balcony for some fresh air.

There is not much more I can say that has not been positively mentioned by other reviewers. As I have thought during my previous stays at the Waldorf Chicago, there is nothing I would improve upon. It is simply delightful!

I booked a staycation for the weekend for daughter’s birthday. It was a 10/10. The concierge, Logan, was spectacular. She made sure all of our needs were met and more. She also suggested fun things to do with my daughter. The new spa is amazing. I usually go to a different one in the city but chose this one because they allow 16 and up. I am sold. This will be my new spa home. Highly recommend staying at this location. The customer service was extraordinary.

I just spent a wonderful “staycation” at the Walsdorf. The service was impeccable. For example – some kind soul placed a lens cloth under my girlfriend’s sunglasses that were left in the room – just in case they needed a little buffing. It is a minor thing, but it shows they are making the small extra step. The room was luxurious. The room was 5 minutes late in being prepared. For this tiny inconvenience we were treated to a complementary drink of our choice in Brass Tack, their hotel restaurant / bar; a very kind gesture.

Great location in the Gold Coast and always amazing service! The hotel provides wonderful concierge service and has a great restaurant, speak easy, and spa right in the hotel if you do not want to leave and make your stay a true staycation in the city!

My daughter and I stayed at the Waldorf in Chicago last weekend and it was absolutely what the doctor ordered for an 8 month pregnant person. Our room was gorgeous, the staff amazing and my daughter loved the indoor lap pool. Fabulous restaurants and shopping within 1-2 blocks and to come back to a cozy lobby area with fireplace. Could not have asked for a better stay vacation!!

This hotel was great. It’s n a great location. The service was amazing. The ambiance is great as well.

The Waldorf was amazing and it all started with Deandre checking us in. He was cheerful, warm and gave us an upgrade. When we saw our room, we were stunned. It was a corner one bedroom suite! On a high floor! The whole stay was perfect.

The room, the concierge, the management

This was my fourth stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago, and I continue to love the luxury vibe, prime location, always quiet at night. This property also has a speakeasy bar at the 2nd floor, their drinks are great.

While I was initially assigned a Deluxe King with a fireplace, I found the bathtub hadn't been properly cleaned (dirt and hair).

However, the staff's response was world-class. Brianna at the front desk handled the situation perfectly and moved me to a Junior Suite with that classic interior design I love. To top it off, Eleni was incredibly friendly during checkout and ensured I left happy. Despite the initial issue, the welcoming staff is why I’ll keep coming back.

This is such a beautiful hotel, luxury appointed rooms and linen with nice views. My son especially enjoyed the fireplace.. and the shower water pressure is amazing! Hotel was were very professional and we had great service from our room attendant, checkin and room service. A must stay when in Chicago.
