I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was excellent, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the delicious food at the restaurant. The service was always friendly and professional, making us feel welcome every day. The restaurant offered a great variety of fresh and tasty dishes that we enjoyed at every meal. But the highlight of my trip was definitely the amazing animation team. They were full of energy, fun, and creativity, organizing great activities and shows that made every moment exciting. Their positive spirit made our vacation unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back again soon!
Service 4/5
Cooking & food was excellent 5/5
I was very disappointed with my stay. Some staff at the beach were behaving in a very inappropriate way, even engaging in sexual acts in front of guests, including children and families. I told them I did not want my kids to see such things, but they ignored me completely. This is unacceptable for a family hotel.
Some workers are rude with the visitor on beach and reception 1/5
The pool man and the guardian's on the beach are rude n no politeness 00/5
Very bad experience at Yadis Hammamet.
We had fully paid in advance for a one-week stay, but the hotel did not respect its commitment. Instead of keeping the room we had reserved and paid for, they decided to resell it. On top of that, the staff was very rude and unpleasant with us.
This is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. No respect for the customer, no transparency in their management, and a very disappointing experience overall. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.
We had a really enjoyable stay at Yadis Hammamet! A big thank you especially to the young animation team — they brought so much energy and made the atmosphere lively and fun. Between the water polo games, darts, and the beach activities, there was always something to do, and everything was well organized. The staff were welcoming, the entertainment was great, and overall it was a very good experience. We left with wonderful memories and lots of smiles. Highly recommended!
This hotel stands out for its exceptional quality in many aspects, especially its outstanding animation team. The staff is friendly, professional, and dedicated to ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience. From daytime activities like sports, games, and creative workshops to evening entertainment with lively shows and themed parties, the animation team keeps the energy high and engages guests of all ages. Their enthusiasm and talent create a vibrant atmosphere, making every moment enjoyable. Combined with comfortable accommodations, delicious dining options, and excellent service, this hotel offers a perfect getaway. The animation team truly sets it apart, adding fun and excitement to every stay.
Hotel Stay Review – August 9 to 15, 2025
We visited this hotel three years ago and had a much better experience back then. Unfortunately, this time the stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations. We booked 3 rooms (2 guests per room) plus an additional guest for a couple of days, paying almost £2400 for an all-inclusive stay.
Service & Treatment
We noticed a clear difference in treatment between Arabic guests and non-Arabic guests. Staff appeared more hospitable and attentive to non-Arabic guests, who received benefits we did not. At times, our requests were ignored by some staff members.
The beach attendant who organizes the seating under the umbrellas would immediately prepare chairs and deck chairs for non-Arabic visitors, but if you were Arabic, he would ignore you until you asked multiple times — and even then, he would only assist after serving non-Arabic guests first.
At the beach bar, when we asked for soft drinks, the staff member refused, claiming he served only alcoholic drinks there. However, this was not true — we saw him serving soft drinks to foreign (non-Arabic) guests.
Food & Drinks
Coffee was of very poor quality.
Tea was essentially hot water with mint — not good.
Juices were low quality.
Food variety existed but most dishes were not tasty.
Same salads served every single day for a week.
Some dishes were not fresh or well-prepared.
Plates in the service room and restaurant were often dirty — we had to check each one before use.
The restaurant cleaning staff were polite and tried their best, but hygiene still fell short.
Cleanliness & Maintenance
Room cleaning was insufficient — dust everywhere, likely due to too few cleaning staff.
The tools and equipment in the rooms were old and had visible stains.
Bathroom towels were stained, in some cases not properly clean, and very old — yellowed from overuse and excessive chlorine.
Common bathroom in the reception was often out of order and dirty.
Diffuser and tools in public areas were not working.
The lift was not functioning correctly, and there was no electrical certification plate showing the last or next verification date, which is a legal requirement in Tunisia.
The entrance area had multiple spider nests.
Entertainment & Staff Conduct
Animation team was unprofessional, often harassing foreign guests (particularly young women), and the activities were boring.
Language skills among the entertainment staff were poor, making activities less engaging.
Covered pool lifeguards were polite, professional, and stood out positively compared to others.
Overall
This hotel has declined significantly compared to our previous visit. While a few staff members were kind and tried their best, overall service, cleanliness, food quality, and maintenance were well below the standard expected for the price paid., I would strongly recommend looking at other hotels that offer better value and hospitality.
Well served and cool people having fun all the time and always smile on your face thanks for the animation team and the fun are they doing keep going
Most of the staff were friendly, the hotel in general is clean and the food is delicious, although it is not very varied, but it is good and the children liked it very much, especially with the presence of fresh pizza for dinner,
I did not like the presence of some old towels (some cut up) and this harms the reputation of the four-star hotel.
The sea is a private beach that must be cut off, beautiful and clean sand.
The view from the rooms facing the pool is very nice
The hotel was really nice, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I had a lovely room which overlooked the pool and the beach, and my room was looked after every day. There's food for everyone, and as a picky Eater, I had many options. The animation team made my holiday. They were always full of energy, and always had a smile on their faces. They made sure to include everyone with activities during the day, and the best part was the evening entertainment.
The hotel is nice and clean. Everyone working in the hotel is kind, hard working and always ready to help. Beach is good and clean, outdoor and indoor pools too. Lifeguards on beach and pool do good job. Food is good also. Almost all rooms have sea view. Only thing we didn't like was that music could be too loud during the day and in the night, but it stops usually about 11 PM.

Literally arrived today after reading all the reviews, this hotel seemed to be the best of a bad bunch. I am with my type 1 diabetic daughter, there is nothing sugar free!! we paid for all inclusive…. Firstly it is not ‘all inclusive’ one restaurant to get food breakfast lunch and dinner at set times! So was unable to access food all day hence paying for all inclusive. The All inclusive drinks, very limited alcoholic ones taste like paint stripper. This is all on top of the £60 tourist tax!!! This is a true honest very first impression. The hotel is near the dirty private beach!!! We have another 10 days of this much needed holiday!!!
The hotel is actually clean, one of the bar staff wanted to charge for lemon cordial! He professionally got told ‘no’ we ate out every evening, despite paying for all inclusive. The food is terrible over cooked.
Both my girlfriend and I were ill one way or another for the duration of the holiday. Not sure if it was the water/drink (we only drank the provided bottled, the fizzy drinks and the beer) or the food. We ended up having to resort to eating outside of the hotel which was frustrating as we paid for all inclusive. All the fizzy drinks were flat the entire duration too seemingly due to apparent issues with the dispensers. Location was good enough being on the beach. Animation team were friendly and the sun beds are really comfortable so great for sitting by the pool, the pool is also huge and really good. Reception did try and accuse us of not paying for the first night, turns out it was a misunderstanding but was a stressful time and good job I didn’t just blindly pay what they were asking (potentially a Loveholidays issue not sure). Also you can expect to be charged £54 resort tax for 2 people for 9 nights which seems quite a bit higher than online research suggests it should have been.
WiFi also terrible and not in the rooms. Can only get wifi in atrium and sometimes at the pool.
Don’t like to be critical as the staff were working hard etc but being ill the entire time was highly frustrating and don’t want others to have a similar time.
Room was good, cleaned everyday, everyday clean towels. Very friendly service, everyday asked us if everything was okay. Food also ok, large selection, you could choose e.g. omelette, pancakes, pizza, pasta or fish. good desserts and fruits. Good coctails. Beach also good. The pool is quiet, sun loungers are available there is no need to book them :) and the bar is open. large deep pool. Diverse music. Every day a lot of animations, stretching, darts, aquagym, water polo, volleyball. In the evening, there is a mini-disco and various events: karaoke, games, and at the end of the day, a disco. Great job by the animators, Kouki and Dido are the best.
Im happy in this hotel and i reslly do like everything . I like the animation teqm because they make my holiday very happy and tgey make a lovely show at night . Thanks for you all the team ( Dido ) ( will ) (sousou) (kouki) . You are the best .
Amd the pool was very clean and the restaurant was good . Thanks for every one and see you soon 😊 😘 ❤️
I really love this hôtel and i wish i will be black as soon as I Can . Beacous we do like everything in the hotel . The restaurant was great and the pool so cline and the best of the best the animation team they really make our holiday so happy and funny . They have a great show all night . So thanks for everyone and see you soon ,
All is very nice the hotel is really great particulary jacuzzi and swimming pool with cover the spa services is also good
We were very disappointed in our stay at Yadis Hammamet hotel. It should not be given a 4 star status. To begin with, I was asked to send confirmation of the hotel booking through email because the secretary could not find the reservation. The bathrooms are moldy. The food is cheap and unhealthy. We got sick after eating the food. It was just horrendous. The air conditioner was very loud. They gave me a suite which was attached to another room , so I had no privacy and everything could be heard from the other room!
