Parador de la Seu d'Urgell

Really nice hotel. Rooms very comfortable. Bar service good. Secure parking adjacent to the hotel, so ideal for our motorbikes. A short walk into the centre. The only negative was the toilet in our room would benefit from some bleach, which was a surprise considering how nice everything else was. We would stay here again.

Very beautiful and comfortable hotel near the old town. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The beds were a bit hard, but everything else was great. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Quiet, despite being centrally located. Parking available, at a cost. Friendly and helpful staff in reception - breakfast staff rather more reserved! . Clean and comfy room, but why do paradors seem to have noisy sheets??? They are so well dressed during washing that they make a somewhat crunchy noise when one turns over?…… Fine for the restless sleeper, who can sleep through most noise, , but not for the partner who gets woken even by the sound of a mosquito or fly!

Stayed 2 nights. Friendly, helpful staff. Good facilities, nice pool. Room was big with a sofa and very comfortable. Large garage parking for motorcycles plus outdoor secure parking. Very close to historic area, next door to cathedral. Ate in the restaurant once and food was excellent. Restaurants in town were small and filled up quickly so not a surprise the parador restaurant was busy. Great breakfast.

A family visit to visit the area. Would have been fairer if parking was 24hrs as we had to pay for it!!!!

We reservate 3 rooms. At one of them the air conditioning was broken. The manager told us it is our problem and they have nothing to do with it.
This is the worst way of hospitality.
We do not recommend such place with rude attitude. ☹️

Für einen Parador ausser der Halle relativ unspektakulär. Schwimmbad, wie eine Metzgerhalle. Die Sauna, so klein wie ein Schrank. Klima laut und bringt nichts. Wenn man das Fenster öffnet, hat man die ganze Nacht den Lärm der Hautklima.

Very small room even when I booked a superior one for 3 adult people
Third bed was not done when we arrived. Nothing prepared for 3 persons.
In the room still was the fruit from the previos client.
Only one small chair.
Television was on the opposite site from the bed.
Bathroom with bath and not shower.

Parador magnifique avec un petit déjeuner cher mais excellent. Un peu déçu par la chambre assez ordinaire par rapport à la qualité des parties communes. Personnel sympathique hôtel bien placé à proximité de la cathédrale.

It is important to place this review in context:
The Pro’s: the hotel is beautiful, modern and clean. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, modern and well decorated. The hotel has a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and sauna. There is also excellent on site secure parking. Breakfast was self service and nice.
The cons: we couldn’t get the aircon to work and therefore we were too hot, in fact sweating at night, which meant I did not sleep well. The dinner service was appalling, I was served Iberian ham cut into squares, no salad, no dressing just a plate of ham? There were a choice of salads, 2-3 soups, but main course was either cod and pepper or beef cheek and roast potato, I had beef my partner fish both were bland, poorly seasoned, the roast potato hard and under cooked. The fish cold, there was no hot veggie or vegan option other than soup. The waited forgot my fruit juice, took forever to follow up and ask us to sign so we could leave neither of us could
Tolerate dessert. The dining staff are over worked the poor waitress at breakfast was managing booking, seating, serving and re-laying tables for all 20+ tables. We were charged €86 for dinner, I really don’t expect to be mugged inside a hotel dining room. I would certainly use the hotel again but I would under any circumstances eat there again.

If you want to go walking in the area this is a great place to stay.
The food is good - the rooms are great. I recommend it.

Hôtel agréable et confortable au cœur du centre historique

A wonderful location for our travels. The scenery of snow-capped mountains was breathtaking. The town is on the quiet side. The hotel itself was serviced by wonderful, friendly and smiling staff. The car park access is a little challenging being in a one-way street, however the two reception staff were very helpful in guiding me into the parking area.

We were pleasantly surprised with the property.. Nicely appointed, quiet, thoughtful and the breakfast buffet was great. The 17€ charge for parking was a surprise.
