Hotel Willms

Stayed for 5 night ski vacation. Food was excellent and priced well. I ate both breakfast and dinner at Willms and did not get bored. Service was friendly and owners are focused on skier needs and ready every morning with advise on slopes and lifts. Not really a ski in - ski out location . Slope across the street is a bunny hill suitable only for beginners and it is not attached to other lift systems. Sauna and steam are well maintained, run very hot, but somewhat small with only 6 lounges so can get crowed at peak times. In Austrian tradition it is very respectful space but there is no privacy and open to men-women. A perfect way to warm up the body after a full day on the slopes. Hotel is a good location if you are not looking to bar hop or check out restaurants in town, although close to town, hotel is on a steep street which is very slippery and would be a difficult walk at night. Train station is nearly 1 Km, not walkable with skiings and luggage . Tax is €10 to train station. Kirch-Kitz - #1 in EU for a reason. You need to ski down the bunny hill to a bus stop and then ride to the lifts (approx 10 mins). Buses are modern, schedules are convenient and free . Once on the main Trams the whole area including Kitzbühel is connected by slopes and lifts. There is sufficient challenge for any expert with easier ways down for intermediate skiers . I am planning my return trip already. Worth the trip for New York.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt am Skihang in Kirchberg gelegen.
Diverse Restaurants befinden sich in der Nähe, Kitzbühel ist circa 7km entfernt und mit einem Taxi gut erreichbar.
Das Hotel hat mich leider enttäuscht.
Zu Silvester kann man froh sein, irgendein Zimmer zu bekommen, aber ein Preis von 250 Euro die Nacht ist mehr als übertrieben für diese Unterkunft..
In der ausgestellten Hotelbroschüre ist ein viel geringerer Preis angegeben, für mich war das hier eine Frechheit. Man sollte sich an den Preis in der Broschüre halten oder diese ggf anpassen
Das Zimmer war sehr sehr hellhörig, sodass wir vom Nachbarzimmer TV und Musik immer mithören mussten.
Das Bett war zwar bequem, allerdings für Personen > 1.70m zu kurz. Der Ausblick war jedoch schön.
Das Frühstück war OK, nichts besonderes, die Atmosphäre empfand ich als nicht schön.
Der Spa Bereich war leider enttäuschend.
Es hat modrig gerochen, nach altem Abwasser o.Ä. Ich habe mich nicht gerne hier aufgehalten.
Reisetipps oder Ausflugsziele hat man von den Mitarbeitern leider nicht erhalten, hier hätte ich mir mehr Informationen gewünscht. Auch ein einfaches "War alles in Ordnung" am Abreisetag hat mir hier gefehlt.
Ich würde in Zukunft ein anderes Hotel oder eine Ferienwohnung nehmen, hier habe ich mich leider nicht wohlgefühlt.

Really lovely hotel in a lovely scenic town

Skønt hotel med lækker morgenmad, rolige omgivelser og alligevel ikke langt ned til byen.
