Olumsu yok
Lovely room and an excellent location, so we would likely stay again, but the service doesn't match the nearly €400-a-night price.
We stayed six nights in room 5, overlooking the canal. The room was genuinely lovely: big openable windows plus air conditioning, a very comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches like the included snacks. It sits at the top of a very steep flight of shallow stairs, but the staff carried our suitcases up and down without our having to ask, which we really appreciated. The location is so central we could reach almost everywhere on foot or by metro, and the breakfast was good, albeit repetitive over a stay this long.
It's a pity that the service wasn't as good as the room. An airport transfer was advertised at €59, then quoted at €69 when I went to book it. I provided every detail requested, and no driver showed up; we took the train instead (which was easy enough that we took it again at the end of our stay). I emailed the owners about the no-show and never received a reply.
On arrival, the greeting was cold and I was told brusquely, "You need to pay," which felt rude plus I had already checked in and paid in full en route. Over six nights we never met either owner, and no one asked how the stay was going or whether anything could be better. Many hotels offer WhatsApp contact with guests, which I've found very helpful for questions before and during a stay, but this one does not. Finally, we invited a friend for cocktails one evening and while they were good, they were expensive, and unfortunately there is no discount for guests.
We had such a nice overnight stay at Rosalia's. We loved the quirkiness of the hotel and the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful.
We arrived around 11am and left the bags in the bar area and then returned to check in later. We got a really friendly greeting which was a great start.
The room was lovely. I requested a first floor room as the hotel has no lift and the stairs are steep. When we arrived back, the bags had already been carried to the room. Room had everthing needed including free mini bar with soft drinks in it and some Tonys chocolate and crisps.
The bed was so comfortable and the shower was lovely, powerful and hot. The room was just what we needed and big by European standards.
Breakfast the next morning was amazing, sooo good and tasty, Really set us up for the day. After check out we left the bags again and returned later in the day to collect them.
Overall, highly recommended and will return next time we are in Amsterdam.
PS, the cocktail bar serves amazing cocktails
The staff were all amazing and that bed was the best mattress I've ever slept on. Also, their was AC and a safe.
The opening with no door for the shower was annoying. Feeling a cold breeze anytime I didn't have water pouring on me. Also, the towel bar was way too stuck out from the wall in that narrow space next to the toilet. My upper back hit it twice getting up off the can.
Perfect location, beautiful room,, superb bar downstairs with super friendly stuff!
Everything was perfect.
Rare find today - a small (6 room) family owned bed and breakfast. The decor was fabulous and my room was very comfortable and spacious (for Amsterdam!) The breakfast was made to order and very generous. The cocktail bar team was also so helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
The location is at the very edge of the red light district, so I just walked different routes to avoid some of that. Nothing to do with the hotel itself, and they were very helpful in every way.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were very cozy, with a huge and incredibly comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom stocked with high-quality toiletries.
The breakfasts were delicious and conveniently served downstairs every morning. A special mention goes to the cozy and atmospheric bar with its creative signature cocktails — it became the perfect place to start each of our evenings.
This hotel has a truly unique vibe: stylish, welcoming, comfortable, and full of character. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great location, a warm atmosphere, and attention to every detail. The friendly and hospitable hosts made our stay even more memorable.
Large canal side room on the first floor over a charming bar where we had a drink or two each night. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.
Room is a bit dated but is clean and large - not complaining, but just do not expect perfection!
