Faulenzen und Schlemmen am schönsten Platz der Wachau
Pros:

Besonders gefallen hat uns die Großzügigkeit der Räume - sowohl das Zimmer und die Terrasse als auch Speisesaal und Liegebereiche im Spa. Nirgends fühlt man sich beengt.
Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam - ohne künstlich oder süßlich zu wirken, einfach natürlich und herzlich.
Küche und Weine sind sehr gut.
Das Spa übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Wo hat man schon einen beheizten Außenpool, von dem aus man beim Schwimmen auf die Donau, auf Dürnstein und die Ruine sieht?!
Dieser Blick ist sowieso unbezahlbar!!!
Und dafür, was einem hier geboten wird, ist auch der Preis äußerst fair.

Sehr schön, jederzeit gerne wieder!
Pros:

Optimal gelegen für ein paar Tage "Auszeit" in der Wachau, oder für einen Kurzurlaub/Wellnessurlaub. Sehr positiv, die Parksituation beim Haus mit der Möglichkeit sein E-Auto zu Landen. Fahrräder können ausgeborgt werden und eine Garage für die eigenen Räder ist ebenfalls vorhanden, auch wieder Ladestationen für E-Räder.

Cons:

Wenn es überhaupt etwas anzumerken gibt, dann vielleicht die zentrale Bad/WC Lüftung, welche auch in der Nacht durchläuft und doch einen gewissen durchgehenden Geräuschpegel erzeugt. Soll aber kein Kritik sein, max. 1/2 Punkt Abzug in meiner sehr guten Gesamtbewertung... :-)

Die Qualität des Hotels ist außergewöhnlich!
Pros:

Das Zimmer war außergewöhnlich, wir hatten einen sehr schönen Balkon! Vielen Dank für das Upgrade des Zimmers!
Es war geräumig, sehr sauber und mit allem Notwendigen bestens ausgestattet.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, sehr vielfältig, und das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut, ich hätte mir jedoch eine größere Auswahl im Menü gewünscht, vor allem, da es im Ort nicht viele Alternativen gibt.

Der Wellnessbereich ist hervorragend! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut erfüllt! Ich war von meinem Aufenthalt begeistert! Ich empfehle es von ganzem Herzen weiter!

Cons:

Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass das Abendmenü im Restaurant abwechslungsreicher ist.

A great hotel a short distance from Dürnstein.
Pros:

Views, pool, sun loungers, and selection at breakfast

Cons:

The pool was very warm! In order to walk to Dürnstein you have to walk a short distance on a pavement next to a very fast road, with seemingly no speed limits! This is loud and it feels a bit scary for pedestrians.

Pros:

Das Frühstück war OK - wobei man leider immer das Geschrei von der Küche hören musste das sie mal Gas geben sollten und das das alles nicht sein kann - sehr unfreundliche Frühstückchefin. Die Dame vom Service war eigentlich nett auch wenn das Deutsch nicht so fließend war.

Cons:

Leider finden wir es sehr schade das weder an der Rezeption, an der Bar oder im Spa Bereich ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter war. Die "Radgarage" ist eine heruntergekommene Garage, an der beim Eingang die Tür fast aus dem Rahmen fällt und bei der Kantenschutz der runterhängt man Angst hat sich Kratzer ins Rad zu machen - wobei man den Weg dringend mal vom Gebüsch befreien sollte. Die wirklich billigen Zettel die überall hängen lassen auch keinen Wohlfühlfaktor aufkommen - der "Barkeeper" war außer genervt nicht sehr viel, eher unhöflich und nicht einmal gekommen um zu fragen ob noch was fehlt - Wein haben wir uns selbst nachgeschenkt und auch der Bestellung eines Wassers kam er nicht nach. Leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Kurzum: ein Traum - wie soll es bei einer Himmelstreppe anders sein
