Wir freuten uns auf unsere gebuchte
Suite. Leider mussten wir bei dem Eintritt ins Zimmer feststellen, dass unser Bad einen Wasserschaden aufwies, welcher definitiv schon länger bekannt war. Man wurde also wissentlich bei der Buchung getäuscht. Schade, denn ein Ersatzzimmer im selben Hotel bot man uns nicht an. Stattdessen mussten wir allein mit unserem gesamten Reisegepäck in ein etwa 400 Meter entferntes Hotel laufen und bekamen dort ein Doppelzimmer, ohne Dusche, mit Badewanne und viel weniger Platz mit schlechterer Qualität. Als Entschädigung bot man uns leider nichts an, stattdessen verwies man immer darauf, dies mit Booking.com klären zu sollen.

Das Frühstück ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig, da es häufig leere Platten gab, welche nicht nachgefüllt wurden. Weiterhin gab es wenig Auswahl und besondere Produkte wie Honigkuchen wurden nicht neu bestückt, wenn sie alle waren. Wenn man also später zum Frühstück kam, hatte man eben Pech mit der Auswahl, obwohl man das gleiche Geld für die selben Leistungen bezahlt hat und diese aber nicht bekommen hat.

Receptionists are often the first impression guests have of a hotel, and in your case, you are truly fortunate to have an outstanding one. The receptionist who assisted me (a young lady) was exceptional in every way. She was professional, friendly, and always willing to help. She answered all my questions with ease, provided clear information, and actively looked for solutions whenever needed. Her support made a real difference during my stay.

Overall, she gave a very strong and positive impression of the hotel.

The hotel itself was also very pleasant — comfortable, well maintained, and everything was organized smoothly. I had a very enjoyable stay and would gladly recommend it to others.

Lage und Desing im Treppenhaus und Spesisesaal.

Cons:

Geschirr und Besteck war nicht sauber. Tische waren nicht dem Ambiente entsprechend eingedeckt, so dass Gesamtkonzept nicht stimmig warnund nicht mit Internetauftritt zusammenpasst. SPA Bereich war auch nichts besonderes 1 Sauna für maximal 4 Personen und Mini Pool, 2 Liegestuhl > enttäuschend😢 Kühlschrank im Zimmer hat auch nicht funktioniert.

Marienbad, rendu célèbre par Edouard VII et Alain Resnais (par son film) a bien des atouts !
Pros:

Le personne d'accueil de l'hôtel a été agréable dès notre arrivée. La chambre, spacieuse, donnait directement sur la célèbre Colonnade de Marienbad et était largement baignée par un grand soleil printanier. Bien insonorisées et d'un beau volume les chambres permettent un repos agréable et paisible.

Cons:

Le matelas de notre lit semblait déjà assez fatigué...Il vaut mieux le remplacer que de tenter, par un surmatelas, de rallonger sa vie de quelques années. C'est dommage pour une chambre de cette qualité.

Marienbad ist ein Besuch wert!
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich schön, direkt an der Wandelhalle, an Quellen, dem Park und der schönen Kolonade.
Parkhäuser sind in der Nähe verfügbar, um das Auto unterzustellen. Der Service im Restaurant, Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut.

Cons:

Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt, trotz unserer angemeldeten Ankunftszeit. Längeres Warten machte uns unruhig, da unser PKW an der Straße verweilte, um erst einmal einzuchecken. Erst nach ca.45 min kam das Personal ohne ein "Sorry" ging der Check in dann voran. Das ist für dieses Hotel einfach schade. Der Service der Zimmerreinigung wurde zu auffallend späten Zeiten gemacht oder auch gar nicht? Es lag Staub auf den Nachttischen und den darauf stehenden Lampen von Tagen vor unserem Eintreffen. Eine Schöne Gardine mit Kordeln an unserem Fenster war halbseitig runtergerutscht, eine Kordel lag auf dem Fußboden und es wurde nichts repariert. Warum? Es ist ebenfalls schade!
