Pros:

Colazione molto buona, posizione "strategica" per visitare Ortigia. Gli ambienti hanno il fascino legato alla storia della struttura. Camera ampia con bellissima vista sul mare. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile.

Peccato la mancanza di ascensore compensata dalla gentilezza del personale nel portare le valigie al piano

Our return trip was just as lovely
Pros:

This is a wonderful little hotel -- Domus Mariae Albergo, not to be confused with its sister, newer building across the street called Domus Mariae Benessere, which houses the warm-water indoor pool, wellness spa and breakfast service for both buildings. The staff at Domus Mariae Albergo treat guests almost like family and are remarkably helpful and thoughtful. The room we had was large and bright. This was our second trip to Ortigia and to this particular hotel -- we love its people, its character and its location.

Cons:

Nothing -- all good.

I will definitely come back
Pros:

Beautifully designed and spotless room with so much character. The location is 10/10. super convenient and only a few minutes from all the main attractions. But the highlight has to be the breathtaking ocean view. Truly one of the most beautiful sea views I’ve ever seen. I could honestly just stay in the room and enjoy the view for hours. And the staff were absolutely wonderful, incredibly warm, patient, and attentive, always making sure everything was taken care of. Their kindness made the whole experience even more special.

Our stay Domus Marie Albergo was one of the highlights of our trip!

Great location, wonderful staff, excellent view
Pros:

the sea view from our room was just wonderful, the room was very quiet apart from the sound of the waves. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good, location of hotel was excellent. The front desk team were extremely helpful, coordinating taxi bookings for us even on a very busy evening

Cons:

would have liked one double bed not two twins. Breakfast got cleaned out by tour group, the team were a bit slow to replenish items

Top Lage in Syracus
Pros:

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel. Perfekte Lage in Syracus, direkt am Meer. Direkt vor dem Haus verläuft eine wenig befahrene Straße, danach nur noch das Meer...
Es gibt weitere Zimmer im Haupthaus direkt gegenüber, dort gibt es auch das Frühstück.
Wir waren im Nebenhaus direkt am Meer, Zimmer 102. Sehr komfortables Zimmer, große Betten, großes Bad, sehr sauber. Sehr zuvorkommendes Hotelpersonal.

Cons:

Dafür kann das Hotel nichts: Die Parkplatzsituation im ganz Syracus ist entsetzlich. Und die Polizei verteilt gnadenlos Strafzettel. Es gibt in der Nähe ein Parkhaus Talete (easy park), ein bisschen weiter entfernt ca. 10 Minuten der Parkplatz Gelone.

La posizione e la camera vista mare

Cons:

Struttura vecchia, camere da ristrutturare, soprattutto il bagno, sanitari vecchi e rovinati, stessa cosa la doccia.
Dal bagno arrivava odore di fogna disgustoso.
La camera non era pulita alla perfezione, c’era polvere sulle lampade e sporcizia negli angoli della porta d’ingresso e del balcone.
Capelli sul letto. Impronte di mano alla porta.

The location was very good. We had a city view room but could hear the ocean and could see it from the roof terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good.
