Good location and comfortable.
Pros:

The location was great with easy access to the hop on hop off city tram which is a must. It’s an easy walk to the shopping mall and restaurants The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were wonderful.

Cons:

The check in and unloading of the bags was a little awkward and not convenient when it’s pouring with rain. You will get wet. They have two parking options one outside near the hotel out in the weather which cost $25 which is not ideal when raining or valet parking for $35 a night which was worth it considering it was raining. For $10 extra per night it was a no brainer and they will go and get the car and park it away whenever you want. My advise is to call reception about 10 mins beforehand so your not waiting for your vehicle. Having said this we didn’t have a choice but to take up this option as the outside parking was already full by the time we had arrived.

Pros:

The central location of Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square made it an ideal location for our stay. The staff were both friendly and helpful and the room was neat and tidy. Good views from the room.

Your breakfast - Great way in doing your eggs - Nice and freshly made.
A great selection of all foods and drinks.
My partner and I enjoyed the happy hour drinks with nibbles. The beer has nice and cold as well as the wine.

Cons:

Sorry but the chicken sausages were a bit tough but that is only a miner complaint if any.
All else I couldn't fault thing. Your staff were so helpful, from greeting you at the front counter, to the bar staff upstairs. "Just great"
