Comfortable room

Great location within walking distance of everything in guisborough. The staff was friendly and kept the rooms clean. The room was large with a nice bathroom.
There was little airflow due to a lack of A/C

The rooms are very cramped - if you’re standing up in the room you are in the way of the other occupant and the bathroom is too small for two.
There are steps inside the bathroom which takes up space and could cause a trip.

Location was perfect, staff were great.
No parking, had to pay at local car park. However was free overnight and Sundays so not a massive inconvenience
The room was clean, bed was comfy and location was good for our needs. The pub was busy but the noise did not impact too much on the room. Staff were pleasant and approachable.
The bedroom window had a large crack in the glass, the sash was no longer in place and the window was held up by placing a wooden box under it but the window was heavy to move.
It was located close to mechanical units which were very noisy
The light in the shared toilet would not work so had to leave the door ajar to use it. Reported it but no evidence that it had been looked at (eg note to advise what had been done) and still did not work with no alternative offered.

The refreshments tray was one off the best I've seen, real coffee bags instead off instant with a range off herbal & black tea bags, together with decent biscuits. With the heatwave on a standing fan had been added to the room (albeit when running it used the TV power socket)
No immediately obvious Wifi (although I didn't ask at the bar) & parking was either on street or a nearby public car park both off which had an 08:00 'till 18:00 charge period. Not the venues fault but he shared toilet could do with vent grills, another guest hadn't turned the hot tap fully off last thing at night, when I opened the door around 06:30 it was like walking into an oven

Dirty, noisy, shower at the end of my bed, toilet in corridor shared. Very noisy both inside and outside. Smelly.

De ligging t.o.v. centrum en de pub.
De kamer. Was gelegen aan achterzijde van de pub. Geen doorschijnend glas en een warmtepomp die ‘s nachts vaak aansloeg. Heel luidruchtig. Douchecabine in de kamer en toilet op de gang. Had al eerder 2x via e-mail gevraagd voor een kamer met badkamer en toilet. Nooit reactie gehad. Bij aankomst nogmaals gevraagd om upgrade. Was wel een kamer beschikbaar, maar kon deze niet krijgen omdat het via Booking was gereserveerd. Gevalletje computer says no. Heel slecht.

Location, price
You can see it was a lovely place when it was created. Rooms just need a fresh coat if emulsion. Even the wallpaper is good and the layout great. Shame really, it just looks tired. My room has the shower water pressure of a dripping tap. Could be made better very easily and cheaply.
I was disappointed that we had to share a toilet. Overall, the room was clean but I didn’t like the shower in the corner of the room. Pub was lovely and staff were helpful.
The location was great as easy access to the beautiful Guisborough priory highly recommended to visit. gorgeous, walking areas, lovely shops and other places to eat. and very close to wedding venue Baby Moon retreat.
The food is very good at the Fox Inn, but it's nice to try other places. we had a meal when we arrived and a lovely Sunday roast. very good good.
the room was very nice and comfy. everything you need for a few days stay, hair dryer, lots of hot drink sachets, nice generous towels
tv and there is often music in the background as well as a nice pub garden.
favorite place the cat whiskers cafe 😍 excellent place for breakfast 😍 cafe koleig cafe in high street, yummy coffee tea and pastries. dog friendly too.
odd socks cafe has a launderette attached reality good place to visit.
Sundays cafe serving pancakes and loaded oats.
nothing we didn't like
it was all really good value and a lovely place to visit.
