Superb location and excellent service
Pros:

The location is right at the entrance to Machu Picchu - couldn't be better. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. I would like to single out Wilson who served our dinner and explained everything so clearly. He also demonstrated how to make a delicious Peruvian chili pepper sauce, which I will try when I get home.

Diego the server and experience
Pros:

The best service I’ve ever had including the US, Columbia, Peru, etc. Diego was amazing, remembered our names and took care of us the entire time. The items were amazing and so were the drinks (for us the juices). On top of that the desert was light and amazing. Diego is a great server I recommend him!! Only thing I’d say is menu is slightly small but the flavor packs a punch and I think helps them keep quality control good or something like that. View was amazing as well.

Incredible service
Pros:

Every staff member was kind and helpful; special shout out to Beran and Araceli in the dining room-- they made the delicious food even better with their service! After spending hours ascending Machu Picchu, it's such a treat to walk into the calm Sanctuary Lodge and be offered a cool hand towel to freshen up right away. The room with a patio was a lovely way to relax after a strenuous climb. The grounds were beautiful as well.

We opted to visit all 3 Machu Picchu circuits over 3 days and we couldn't be happier about the experience. It is an expensive stay though the exclusivity & opportunity is worth it!
