Comfortable, satisfying and restful.
Pros:

The rooms were great, fully updated finishes and amenities. The one cup coffee maker in my room worked great. Bed and linens were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning had sufficient options to really feel complete and was filling, good all around.

Cons:

My mom's room (across the hall, so very close) didn't have the coffee 'platter' with the maker, regular & decaf, sweetener and creamer. Her TV didn't seem to have any local channels available, and other than some teaser offerings thru the Roku practically nothing to actually watch.

In my room the TV had absolutely no channels available. There were two remotes: a Roku type which did operate the Roku, with no available apps preprogrammed and no local channels, so nearly useless (except the Roku was able to mirror from my cell phone via Smart View), and a DirecTV type which could mute the TV, just mute, that was the only operable function! I had to turn the TV on manually and operate the volume directly on the TV itself. Very convoluted!

de latino dame aan front desk was onbeschoft, zeer onempatisch, tot zelfs brutaal

Appreciate the staff and room was better than expected.
Pros:

Staff was great, room was surprisingly spacious, shower had great water pressure and temperature, air conditioning in room was nice and easy to control.

Cons:

Very expensive for a modest hotel.

The Chicago South Loop Hotel was a decent hotel that has the potential to be great.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and spacious, with amenities like towels and soap. The bed was also comfortable, and the mattress and pillows were the right firmness, which was perfect for recovering from air travel and the physical activity at our event. The hotel was close to our venue, with great restaurants and easy access to transportation.

Cons:

The hallways smelled of mildew, which triggered allergies in my travel companion and me. I would suggest cleaning or replacing the carpeting when the budget allows. On several occasions, the elevators weren't working, which raised questions about the facility's safety and how often it's maintained.

a good value for my short stay and convenient for this part of town
Pros:

convenience to my work place - ability to book online - efficiency of check in

Cons:

some areas of the hotel are still under construction, I hope that will be done soon. I am looking forward to staying again. also the driveway under the porte cochere has potholes which need to be repaired.

Pros:

I liked the location. It was close to Chinatown which was really cool to see and let's you take advantage of the River taxi to get to Michigan Avenue. Driving in is really easy and the parking lot was super convenient. The beds were fairly comfortable and clean.

Cons:

The hotel itself is dated and dusty. I definitely feel like it's overpriced for what it is. The elevator was pretty unpleasant and you could hear everything outside from the rooms. I spent 540 for two nights and if it was a hundred dollars cheaper, I'd have no issue with coming back.
