Maybe give this one a miss, unless you’re desperate.
Pros:

Rooms very basic but bed was clean. Longer than one night might have been an issue though.

Cons:

The hotel appears to be being used by the local council as an emergency placement for drug users and weirdos. We were locked out by another guest as she had had problems with a man breaking the door down to get in. Therefore our code didn’t work as the deadbolt was engaged. Managed to finally get in then be confronted by said emergency placed drug user, who would not leave us alone. Ended up pushing the chest of drawers in front of t
He door for protection as the bottom hinge looked like it had been kicked in. Following morning ( yay we weren’t murdered in our sleep) we were told the guy had smashed a room up during the night. Safe to say we won’t be staying here again. Oh, and there was a kettle and two cups in the room, but no tea bag’s etc at all, and there was a worm in the kettle.

For the money it was bang on for one quick overnight stay. Clean and comfy bed.

Perfect location. Near station, shops, restaurants and beach.

Old and run down
Pros:

Cheap & close to town centre and beach

Cons:

It is very, very run down. The building needs a massive renovation. Everything from loose floorboards, noisy plumbing, no central heating, holes in walls, and complete re-decoration including the exterior. Also “Free Parking” should be removed from the description.

Pros:

Proximity to beach

Cons:

Smell of smoke, holes in walls, no wardrobes or anything like , shower screen and bath awful, kettle but no drinks and couldn’t access kitchen
