Pros:

Good central location, spacious room, quite accurately hard mattress (not like elsewhere in NZ), so had a nice sleep after 2 weeks :). Room was clean, everything smelled fresh.

Cons:

There is a communal kitchen, was quite outdated and was happy to find at least one bowl, otherwise not much useful.

Great price and location!
Pros:

Great location and affordable price. Clean comfortable bed and all necessary amenities including 24 hour checkin, affordable parking and shampoo and hairdryer in room with ensuite.

Cons:

There was some mould in the bathroom, likely because the fan wasn't working

For the price this accommodation offered what I needed for a couple of nights.
Pros:

Well located. Quiet. Good price. Room, bed, and bathroom were comfortable.

Cons:

The common areas were a bit grubby.

Pros:

Great location for concert at spark arena! Parking was a great price! Has all you need.

Cons:

Couldn’t have blinds open as my room was directly next to common area. Turned TV on, it wasn’t set up and I didn’t know how to do it so just turned it off lol But overall still good for price

Smell of curry lingering in the air 24hours, morning and night. 3 night stay and had to ask for a refill on toiletpaper. Clean towels daily, only service we got. Towels rail in bathroom missing. Coat hook hanger hanging in a screw which keeps falling down. Place not well maintained compared to years ago when we stayed over prior when it still belonged the Juicy.

Cleanliness was my issue. Behind the basin,food/crumbs etc on the gas stove top,miss matched items/glassware, plates/bowls/bead plates & cutlery weren’t all there. TV was always glitching.
AC remotes didn’t work properly.
Mould in the shower in the sealant*** - easy fixes

The location was the best thing about our stay & having a washing machine was handy for our kids clothes & our own towels

Extra booking fee? That was weird.

Great location but you get what you pay for.
Pros:

There's a lot to like about this hotel - it's fabulous location to walk into town, room was clean, excellent price, and good parking under building (additional $15). Nice to get a text to find out when we were planning to good check in.

Cons:

You can feel the plastic under sheets on the beds, the thin walls means you can get a lot of noise from neighbours room and a there was a 'funky' smell (maybe coming from outside?).

All and all, I would stay here again, just for the value and location. Staff were also very nice.

The hotel is in a really good location. close to everything. The bed was comfortable and the place clean.

Cons:

With a little tlc, this could be a really cool place to stay, but some attention is needed to making the rooms a bit more inviting. Some pictures on the walls, and making the entry a bit more inviting would be a great improvment
