Top hotel voor citytrip Stockholm
Pros:

Prachtige ligging in Stockholm,op een eiland dat ook met kleine ferries verbonden is.
Zeer mooie kamers, lekker ontbijt, goed restaurant.
Zeer leuk terras in een zeer stille omgeving temidden een drukke stad.

Cons:

Nogal chaotische opstelling van ontbijtbuffet, weinig plaats om te bewegen.Nog tweede punt : iets minder handige badkamer.

Pros:

THE best possible location in Stockholm. Right in the middle of the old town, but absolutely quiet and relaxing. Easy to reach by boat and walking distance from the Gamla Stan.

Pros:

I det stora hela var det mesta toppen. Härligt läge, fina faciliteter, trevlig personal och god frukost.

Cons:

Det som var mindre bra var badrummet med en glasdörr som inte stängde helt mellan hotellrum och badrum, och som dessutom var delvis genomskinlig. Så badrummet kändes inte särskilt privat.

Även mycket dålig upplösning på TVns skärm, vilket gjorde att vi hellre använde egen laptop för att titta på film.

När man betalar det höga pris man betalar för detta hotell så förväntar man sig att allt ska vara 10/10.

Wenn man nicht mit dem Auto anreist, ein wunderbares Hotel nahe am Zentrum an idyllischer Lage. Gerne wieder!
Pros:

Sehr schön gelegen, super freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück mit sehr schöner Terrasse

Cons:

Enge Platzverhältnisse am Frühstücksbuffet (könnte man problemlos lösen, in dem man zwei Tische entfernt und so mehr Platz für das Buffet hat), sehr teurer Parkplatz (SEK 600-700.- pro Tag)

Super für Sightseeing-Trip.
Pros:

Tolle Lage: Mitten in der Stadt und doch super ruhig und friedlich auf der kleinen Insel gelegen. Direkte Fähranbindung und Busanbindung. Schön eingerichtet: tolle Böden, schönes Inventar, insgesamt hochwertig.

Peaceful, stylish and beautifully located: the perfect base for a magical getaway.

At Hotel Skeppsholmen, my daughter and I had one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever experienced. We came to Stockholm for a long weekend, and the hotel made the trip truly special.

The setting is extraordinary — peaceful, immaculate grounds surrounded by nature, with beautiful views across the Baltic Sea towards Stockholm’s medieval skyline. It felt calm, restorative and effortlessly elegant.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed: simple, stylish and understated, yet with every comfort and facility you could need. Our room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the shower wonderfully powerful after long days exploring the city.

I had initially worried that staying on the island might feel inconvenient, but it was remarkably easy to reach from Central Station by Uber, bus or ferry, all of which are close to the hotel. The city centre is a 10-15 minute walk, or a few minutes on the ferry takes you straight to Granla Stan, the old town.

The breakfast was heavenly — a perfect mix of traditional Swedish breakfast options alongside cooked dishes, all fresh and beautifully presented.

What made the stay even more memorable was the kindness of the staff. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.

A truly exceptional hotel in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable. We would return without hesitation.
