Leider eine große Enttäuschung

Das Personal an der Rezeption war nett und hat versucht sich zu bemühen

Cons:

Wir waren von Dienstag bis Sonntag im Kempinski und leider insgesamt sehr enttäuscht. Gerade weil wir im Mai dieses Jahres bereits im Kempinski Berlin waren und dort insbesondere vom Frühstück begeistert waren, hatten wir an dieses Haus hohe Erwartungen.

Bereits bei der Anreise habe ich darauf hingewiesen, dass ich an Zöliakie leide und deshalb beim Frühstück zwingend auf glutenfreies Brot angewiesen bin. Mir wurde versichert, dass dies überhaupt kein Problem sei und entsprechend weitergegeben werde.

Leider begann bereits das Frühstück mit einem enttäuschenden Eindruck. Wie auch in einer anderen Bewertung beschrieben, wurden wir weder nach der Zimmernummer gefragt noch in irgendeiner Weise begrüßt oder zu einem Tisch begleitet. Wir haben uns letztlich selbst einen Tisch gesucht, was für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel sehr ungewöhnlich ist.

Der Service beim Frühstück war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts leider völlig unzureichend. Die Milch für den Kaffee wurde teilweise erst gebracht, als der Kaffee bereits kalt war. Proaktiv bedient wurde man nur selten und auf ein Omelett warteten wir im Durchschnitt etwa 20 Minuten. Die Beschreibung, das Personal sei „überfordert“, ist aus meiner Sicht noch sehr diplomatisch formuliert.

Da unter der Woche nur wenige Gäste im Hotel waren, machte auch das Buffet leider keinen frischen Eindruck. Die Auswahl war überschaubar, bei der Wurst hatten sich teilweise bereits die Ränder nach oben gedreht. Besonders enttäuschend waren die Weißwürste – hierzu habe ich ein Foto beigefügt. So etwas ist weder appetitlich noch das, was man in einem 5-Sterne-Haus erwartet.

Noch enttäuschender war die Situation mit meinem glutenfreien Brot. Am zweiten Tag wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass es nun ebenfalls kein glutenfreies Brot mehr gebe. Am darauffolgenden Tag war zwar wieder welches vorhanden, die Qualität war jedoch derart schlecht, dass ich es trotz meiner Zöliakie nicht essen wollte.

Cons:

Давно уже не встречала отелей, где просят депозит при заселении, какой-то отстой.
Персонал приятный, но на завтраке так и не получили заказанную кашу, два раза напоминали.
На ужине не ждите чего-то по-настоящему вкусного.
Очень бедненький кидс клаб, мало игрушек, половина сломанные какие-то, персонал даже не пытается развлечь детей.

Die Lage, die Ausstattung, das Frühstück.
Wir kamen aufgrund des Konzertes von Andreas Gabalier. Es wurde ein extra Shuttle vom Hotel eingerichtet - man war gut vorbereitet.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück wurden wir leider nicht nach unserer Zimmernummer gefragt und auch nicht platziert. Das empfanden wir als eher ungewöhnlich und hätten uns in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel einen aufmerksamen und professionelleren Service gewünscht.

Nach Ende des Konzerts wurden wir mit dem Shuttle zurück zum Hotel gefahren und wollten dort den Abend gerne noch bei einem Getränk in der Bar ausklingen lassen. Neben uns waren noch etwa 30 weitere Hotelgäste in den Shuttles unterwegs, die ebenfalls zur Bar kamen. Die Bar war zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch gut besucht.

Es war etwa 23:50 Uhr, als uns die Servicekraft mitteilte, dass die Bar nun schließen würde und wir daher nicht mehr eintreten könnten. Wir konnten diese Entscheidung angesichts der Situation leider nicht ganz nachvollziehen und haben uns trotzdem noch ein Getränk beim Barkeeper bestellt, das wir anschließend mit auf unser Zimmer genommen haben.

Gerade bei einem 5-Sterne-Hotel in diesem Preissegment hätten wir uns hier etwas mehr Flexibilität und Gästefreundlichkeit gewünscht. Da bekannt war, dass in der Stadt ein Konzert stattfand und im Anschluss zahlreiche Hotelgäste zurückkehren würden, wäre es aus unserer Sicht naheliegend gewesen, die Bar an diesem Abend beispielsweise bis 1:00 Uhr geöffnet zu lassen. Zumal offensichtlich noch eine entsprechende Nachfrage bestand und damit auch zusätzlicher Umsatz möglich gewesen wäre.

Besonders schade war, dass diese Situation nicht nur unseren Eindruck getrübt hat, sondern offenbar auch bei zahlreichen anderen Gästen für Unverständnis sorgte. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir an dieser Stelle den Barkeeper, der deutlich entgegenkommender war und uns trotz der angekündigten Schließung seines Kollegen noch ein Getränk ermöglicht hat.
