Top emplacement pour le sunset mais moyen pour les clients de l’hôtel
Pros:

La vue de la chambre, la gentillesse du personnel, le restaurant.

Cons:

La difficulté pour se garer, la climatisation de la chambre fatiguée, la pression d’eau dans la douche, l’obligation de réserver au restaurant alors que nous étions en demi pension et trop de client extérieur de l’hôtel qui occupait toutes les places autour de la piscine et sur la terrasse ce qui nous empêchait de profiter des commodités de l’hôtel pour le prix élevés que nous avons payé.

Schöne Lage am Strand
Pros:

Das Hotel the bay liegt direkt am Meer, traumhafte Aussicht. Die Ausstattung ist gut und es fehlte an nichts. Das Personal ist meist freundlich. Guter Standort für Ausflüge wie Schwimmen mit Delfinen oder Schnorcheln. Das Riff ist etwas weit weg vom Strand.

Cons:

Die Preise für die Zimmer sind im Vergleich mit ähnlichen Hotels etwas teuer.

Merveilleux
Pros:

L'établissement est magnifique, avec un accès direct sur la plage. Le cadre est somptueux avec l'océan Indien d'une part et de l'autre les montagnes verdoyantes.
Nous avons adoré l'ambiance dans ce lieu qui est encore plus mise en valeur grâce aux employés qui sont aux petits soins pour les résidents de leur établissement et ce avec une bienveillance omniprésente.
On a eu la chance de faire une activité grâce à Émilie à savoir nager avec des dauphins et se rendre également sur l'île aux Bénitiers en petit comité. C'est une journée qui restera gravée dans nos esprits!
Le petit-déjeuner ainsi que le restaurant d'une manière plus générale sont excellents surtout avec cette vue directe sur le lagon!
Merci encore à tout le personnel de l'hôtel pour sa gentillesse et son dévouement à notre égard lors de ce magnifique séjour!
On recommande vivement et on y reviendra pour plus de temps encore lors de prochaines vacances sur l'île.

Great hotel but food requires improvement.
Pros:

The location is amazing. The beach is gorgeous and much more calm than public beaches. The groceries shop are in walking distance and private parking provided by the hotel always had available spots. The stuff is kind and tried to make our stay really comfortable. I would like to give a separate shout out to Tracy as she did a great job and her attention to details was exceptional.
The room was gorgeous and extremely clean.

Cons:

I expected more from breakfasts. The staff really tried to provide good service. However, juices tasted watered down, cappuccino and latte are not included in breakfast and must be bought separately, and in general the food did not feel restaurant quality (pls change in your menu expresso to espresso).
The hotel management does not allow to have your own food while the restaurant food is mediocre. I got approached by staff while being on my way to the beach sipping McDonald’s coffee. IMO if the food quality is better, there will be no need to set these rules as people would intentionally choose the food from the hotel.

Pros:

Servicen, fräscht, läget och den allmänna atmosfären på the bay. Ett fantastiskt semesterställe. Bästa solnegångar jag har upplevt.

Cons:

Allt var mycket bra. Saknade ett litet gym, men det visste vi när vi bokade. Fanns bra alternativ till frukosten, men average smakmässigt.

The Bay ist ein charmantes Boutique‑Hotel direkt am Strand und überzeugt vor allem durch seine Lage und Atmosphäre. Die Küche ist sehr gut, frisch und abwechslungsreich. Besonders angenehm ist die Umgebung mit vielen Restaurants und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Das Hotel ist modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, das Interieur wirkt gepflegt und zeitgemäß. Der Strandbereich ist schön angelegt, gut gepflegt und verfügt über eigene Liegen. Das Personal war professionell, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt eine gute Wahl für Reisende, die Strandlage, gutes Essen und ein modernes Ambiente schätzen.

Cons:

Wir hatten von einem Boutique‑Hotel – insbesondere in Anbetracht des Preises – mehr bzw. etwas anderes erwartet. Der Restaurantbereich war ganztägig für externe Gäste geöffnet, was leider zur Folge hatte, dass die für ein Boutique‑Hotel typische Intimität und Ruhe verloren ging.
Zudem führte der Weg vom Strand oder Pool zwangsläufig durch das Restaurant mit externen Gästen, was den privaten Charakter des Hotels beeinträchtigte und teilweise unkomfortabel war. Insgesamt entsprach das Konzept für uns nicht dem, was wir uns von einem Boutique‑Hotel erhofft hatten.
Aus diesen Gründen würden wir das Hotel trotz der vielen guten Aspekte leider nicht erneut buchen.

Kleines Boutique Hotel am Meer (etwas in die Jahre gekommen)
Pros:

Das Hotel ist klein und überschaubar und trotzdem sehr lebendig und das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist toll und die Zimmer sind alle sehr sauber und Verfügen über den notwendigen Komfort. Die Abendessen sowie das Frühstück mit Blick auf das Meer sind richtig entspannend und sehr schön und wir hatten alles in allem sehr schöne Tage dort.

Cons:

Das Essen ist gut - für einen längeren Aufenthalt aber wenig abwechslungsreich (das Tagesmenü hat jeweils nur leicht variiert). Zudem ist die Anlage als Ganzes etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer dürften etwas modernisiert werden. Das führt unter dem Strich zu einem unausgeglichenen Preisleistungsverhältnis zumal Schwimmen im Meer durch das davorliegende Riff nicht immer einfach möglich war (ist aber an vielen Stränden auf der Insel so).
