That were was some black mould spots around. That I didn’t figure out how to work the oven!

Dogs barking throughout the night. Obviously not the host's fault, but worth mentioning.
The shower was solar heated and not quite hot enough, but was rectified quickly when I messaged the host

A small tv would’ve been good. The fans were fine in the winter but I think a small aircon for the area would be a must in the summer.

Kitchen and bbq facilities limited, I would not plan cook a big meal for a lot of people but we managed.w

Not in good condition, dirty floor our feet were black after 30min. Locks on windows broke and insect screens were all ripped open. Security was poor couldn't leave luggage unattended, stagnant water in cup cupboard that smelt, when we raised the concerns the owner was aggressive and swore while talking to us so we left and found new accommodation. Wouldnt recommend

Hot water not hot enough. No water pressure in shower, fine elsewhere in unit. Kitchen missing a few basic items (veggie peeler and something to start stove with.

Where do I start? There is no lift access so you’ll need to carry your gears up and downstairs. But that’s not even all of it.

They were using my unit to store someone else’s food in the fridge and freezer. I was greeted by staff and not the owners and she said it belonged to another person (gave the name too). They did not remove it from the fridge.

The room smelt like it wasn’t ventilated. It smelt musty and lacked fresh air.

There was dog poop on the front lawns, no designated parking so you’ll park anywhere and just watch where you’re walking.

I messaged booking.com customer service and all they could tell me was that they needed to message the host to let them know of my feedback. Five days had passed and still I haven’t heard from the host and still no refund. Booking.com has not confirmed when they will be stepping in either. I’ve returned to my country and not even a word from the host.

Do not stay here. If location is important, this is not close to town or the airport.

Where do I start. There were so many problems that the host completely did not take responsibility for. When letting them know all the problems, we were forced to either stay there and suck it up or leave and cut our loses by paying to stay somewhere else, which is what we were forced to do.
The place was dirty. One of the toilets had a poo stains, there was a dirty old rat trap right beside the sink and stove, which completely put me off cooking in the kitchen. The oven was filthy, I stayed completely away from that. We found blood stains on one of the sheets, the towels were all stained. The walls seems to release this black stuff that got worse the longer we were there. The back door would not latch shut, forcing us the barricade it with furniture while we slept and could not leave valuables behind when we left the house. There was fresh rat dropping in the kitchen every morning and the last straw came when the wind calmed and the sun came out and we thought we could at least hang out on the deck and enjoy the beach, we were then forced to stay inside with closed doors as we found out there was a swam of wasps living in the ceiling and they were very aggressive, they actually started coming in through the hole where the light was in the lounge. It was pretty scary. When letting the host know all these things, and begging for our money back so we could go somewhere else, she sent her workers over to us with new towels, like that would solve our problem. She has since messaged trying to explain away everything but this is obviously an ongoing problem, and her lack of accountability is frustrating. So we are out of pocket but at least our holiday was salvaged by leaving there. The house needs a MAJOR fixing up, I’m sure once upon a time it was a beautiful house, but that would have been years and years ago. Still waiting to see if the host is going to do the right thing and give me a refund.

There was a hornet / wasps nest on the verandah but fortunately they stayed close to it and weren’t a nuisance. The photos attached to this listing aren’t that accurate any more and there is no specific address so it’s difficult to find.

This accommodation had everything I needed

We didn’t get the accommodation we booked.
We booked the charming white two-story free-standing building and ended up in a larger concrete apartment complex “Raina Beach Apartments”.
The original accommodation was “not ready yet” according to housekeeping staff.
Overall the apartment was all right but we were still disappointed.

The room is showing some age, and some restoration could go a long way.
