Pros:

Fairmont is located right across from the Nile. It has a small shopping mall attached to the hotel within which there is a 24 hour pharmacy. The hotel itself has several good quality restaurants and bars. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room service is outstanding.

Outstanding service and attention. Since the first moment they make us feel special as we were celebrating our anniversary. Central location and atention to details. The night show at the Bab El Nil is fantastic. Fawzy from concierge has great attention to details. I'll definitely choose this hotel as a go to when in the city.

Gorgeous hotel. Amazing rooms and service. My only gripe was that I waited over an hour to check into my room after 3pm. When I was taken to my room, they were still cleaning/finalising it. Other than that, wonderful stay

Great hotel in front of nile river. The reception was amazing and helpful. Very high security protection which makes you feel safe. Room and bed were very comfortable. Good value for the money. The only downside is that the majority of the customers are from Arab gulf countries which - in my opinion- have some behavioural issues which can makes someone uncomfortable next to them. Other than that, it’s a lovely place and will definitely recommend it

the traffic going in to the hotel was terrible, it takes too much time to access the road to the lobby, however the location of the property is perfect and attached to a small mall for convenient, this was not my first time and highly recommended for others.

Amazing hotel.
Pros:

The location of the hotel was good to go anywhere. In addition, the service of the hotel and its staff were so smooth and professional. For our anniversary, the hotel prepared one cute heart shape cake to welcome us and celebrate anniversary. It was very warm and kind welcome. On our last day, we had relaxed morning in the pool. The view from the pool was amazing and the pool was clean and nice. The staff was very kind and foods and snacks were very delicious. The staff at the entrance were very helpful when you need a uber ride as it is not easy for foreigner to identify the car with plate written in Arabic only. Very kind and professional. Thanks to the hotel and staff, we had wonderful three days! I strongly recommend this hotel.
